Language trainings in Storebrand Baltic Majority of our employees in Vilnius use Norwegian as their working language on a daily basis. Most of them learned this language at the beginning of their work at Storebrand in an intensive 5-6 months language course organized in house. Training facilities We are working in completely new, modern premises, and in bright, airy classrooms in a building right near the old town of Vilnius. We have Smart Boards in every classroom, meeting rooms, wireless Internet, good work space for the teachers, a good academic library, a good coffee kitchen and comfortable couches Area: 550 sq. m. 6 classrooms + lounge & kitchen + conference room Can train 30-45 people simultaneously

This is the students' full time work, the languages classes are not mixed with any other kind of work, so the students are fully dedicated to this. Tuition is based on a thorough and detailed curriculum. The aim of the course is to enable students to understand, write and speak at a completed B1 level. Some students may struggle to achieve this goal, but many students also ends on a very good and stable B2 level. We mostly use På Vei and Stein på Stein, but we also use additional materials from a wide range of other teaching materials, as well as from contemporary magazines and newspapers. We are also working on developing our own online language resources based on Moodle. After the course, the students should be able to communicate both orally and in writing in a professional manner with colleagues and clients in Norway, but our emphasis is to teach the students a broad, general language! We have been using this training model since 2006. In the last 3 years we successfully trained ~350 employees.
