It doesn t matter where you are or what you are doing, you can send an SMS request to NAB for an account balance, mini statement or funds transfer and receive a response within approximately 10 seconds. account balance If you re out and about and would like to know how much money you have in your NAB transaction account, simply send an SMS to request the balance. mini statement Maybe you want to check if your salary has gone into your account or if a cheque has been cleared. Now you can, simply by requesting a mini statement via NAB SMS Banking. funds transfer Or perhaps you think you re nearing your credit card limit, but you want to continue shopping. With NAB SMS Banking, you can send an SMS requesting the transfer of a specified amount from an eligible NAB transaction account to your NAB Credit Card. You can contact your mobile phone provider for SMS charges. Instead, you select nicknames for your accounts, which enables you to access the correct account while keeping your details confidential. To keep your SMS Banking details secure, make sure your mobile phone and account information are safe. If you lose your mobile phone, it is important to report it to NAB and your mobile phone provider and your service will be blocked to prevent anybody accessing your accounts. Simply visit NAB Internet Banking at nab.com.au or call 1300 651 656 to register your mobile phone number and the NAB accounts you would like to access with SMS Banking. You can find a list of eligible accounts at nab.com.au/smsbanking When registering for SMS Banking you must be at least 16 years of age. You ll be asked to provide a nickname for each account you d like to access. This nickname will help keep your account secure when using SMS, plus it ll make access to these accounts quicker and easier.
