Drive-Away Awnings - Travel Pods Our range of Travel Pod awnings offer the ultimate in touring convenience. All are quick to set up and can be left on site to reserve your pitch whilst you explore the local area in your camper. The Travel Pods can be attached to the camper in various ways: How do Travel Pods attach to the camper? Guy Line Method This is the quickest method. Throw the guy lines, attached to the top corners of the tunnel (on the Travel Pod 310 they re webbing straps), over the vehicle and either peg down on the other side or tie to the wheels Pole & Clamp This is the most secure method for vehicles that have a gutter running the length of the vehicle. The rear tunnel has a sleeve sewn along its length into which the pole slides. The pole then rests in the vehicle s gutter and is secured using the clamps supplied. Beading All Travel Pods come with an 6mm beading sewn along the length of the rear tunnel. The beading can be clipped to the vehicle gutter using figure of 8 profile (not supplied) or attached to the vehicles awning rail (if fitted). It will be easier to do this using an optional driveaway kit. Motor Rally Designed for static use, providing all the benefits of our best selling Rally caravan awnings but in sizes that are suitable for coach built motorhomes. The Motor Rally comes complete with twin beading, 4 mm and 6 mm, that can either be fed through the awning rail attached to your vehicle or threaded through the channel in the front of roll out awnings. Travel Pod Xpress A brilliant pop up drive-away awning that is exceptionally quick and easy to set up and take down. Slip the awning out of its carry bag and it simply pops up into shape. Add two fibreglass support poles and the awnings ready for use in just a few minutes. It makes an ideal day room, with plenty of large windows, with roll away blinds, and plenty of space for a table and chairs. It also comes complete with a clip-in groundsheet. Take down is just as easy as set up so this makes an ideal touring awning that you won t mind setting up for one night. Travel Pod Mini Drive -Away The ideal drive-away awning for the smaller camper van. The Mini is ideal for touring as its compact dimensions make it quick and easy to set up and dismantle. The Mini comes with a fully sewn in groundsheet, to keep bugs and draughts out, and comes complete with a two berth inner tent that can be used if sleeping accommodation is required. The Mini is freestanding and can be connected to the vehicle in one of three ways - pole & clamp, beading or guy line method. The rear tunnel height is 190 cm with adjusting straps to take up any slack. Travel Pod Midi Drive -Away Great for short or longer stays, the Midi fulfils both roles. Its large living area provides plenty of space, yet it is still easy to set up. The spacious interior can be accessed through the front or side door and the side door has a canopy over it to protect it from the weather. The awning comes with a fully sewn in groundsheet to keep creepy crawlies and draughts out and a fully enclosed two berth inner tent can be suspended inside to provide a comfortable bedroom. The whole awning packs down into a surprisingly small carry bag. Travel Pod Maxi Drive -Away for campers with sliding side doors For those who like plenty of living space on site, the Travel Pod Maxi s for you. To keep site dimensions to a minimum, the attachment tunnel is on the side of the unit. The awning can be used purely as living space or install the inner tent, included with this unit, to sleep up to four people in comfort whilst still allowing plenty of living space. Quick and easy to set up, the Maxi is soon ready for action and the sturdy steel legs ensure that the unit stands up to the British weather. Three doors provide plenty of options and the front door panel can be converted into a canopy using the upright steel poles provided. TRAVEL POD 310 Drive-Away For campers and motorhomes up to 265 cm (rail height) Building on the success of our previous Travel Pod range, the Travel Pod 310 brings new enhanced features. The awning is quick and simple to set up, with just two poles but once set up it creates a sturdy living space. Unlike our other Travel Pods that come with fully sewn in groundsheets, the 310 comes with a clip in tub groundsheet that can be used when required. Our Daylight Panels, in the roof, allow white light to brighten the living space. The large windows, with blinds, offer a great view out and the whole front panel can be rolled to the side. Well now we ve introduced the Motor Rally available in two versions 260 and 390 and in two heights, to suit different height motorhomes. Air Awnings The future in your hands After years of development Kampa AirFrame awnings are finally a reality and are set to revolutionise the way you camp. Gone are the traditional metal or fibreglass poles, replaced by strong, high pressure inflatable AirFrame poles. No more struggling with the awning frame and trying to find the correct pole, the AirFrame is already attached to the awning for simple, one step set up. So how does it work? It s simple, traditional poles have been replaced with an inflatable Air-Frame that is always attached to the awning. The individual poles are linked together so that you can pump at just one single point and inflate the entire awning. The rigid AirFrame creates an exceptionally strong awning, probably stronger than a steel frame. It can be inflated using the supplied high volume manual pump or, for the ultimate in ease, with an optional electric pump. An AirFrame can be pumped up in less than 60 seconds using the manual pump. Other advantages As well as being the easiest awning to set up, it s also the easiest to take down Kampa AirFrame awnings are lighter than awnings with conventional poles - up to 27% lighter than an equivalent awning. Reduce your payload. With no metal or fibreglass poles there s nothing to damage the fabric on your awning or your vehicle. The AirFrame is always attached you re never going to forget or lose your poles. Whilst the AirFrame is very rigid it does flex in the wind meaning that you ll never break or bend a pole. As is befitting for what are some of the best awnings available today, Kampa AirFrame awnings are manufactured using top class materials and workmanship. What happens if the AirFrame is damaged? The AirFrame is incredibly durable and under normal conditions will not fail. Each AirPole is made of a strong TPU inflation tube that is zipped into a tough reinforced PE cover. This is then zipped into a heavy duty polyester sleeve in the awning. The inflation tubes are well protected and need no maintenance. Ideal operating pressure is between 8 and 12 psi and the poles are tested to 22 psi, a pressure that is not possible to reach using either the supplied pump or the optional electric pump. Should one of the AirPoles be damaged, each AirPole can be isolated from neighbouring poles using the isolation valves. A simple repair to the AirPole or replacement can then be made. Damage to a single AirPole may not make the awning unusable. Each AirPole is linked together but can be isolated using the valve. A single inflation point will inflate the whole awning. No hard parts near your vehicle. Just inflatable poles. The strong AirPoles are protected in tough PE covers and are easily replaced should they be damaged. 9

Optional Extras for your Motor Rally awning Monsoon Pole L & XL* Designed to fit the Motor Rally range, the Monsoon pole adds extra tensioning for the roof panels; particularly useful in wet weather. Supplied in singles, the 260 requires 2 and the 390 requires 3 poles. Two Berth Inner Tent* A two berth inner tent can be suspended in the Motor Rally awnings. Complete with a sewn in groundsheet. The inner tent can be fitted to the left hand or right hand side. Rally Storm Tie Down Kit All Motor Rally awnings come ready fitted with attachments to accept our Storm Tie Down Kit. If you re expecting particularly windy weather, these tie downs will assist the guy lines already fitted to your awning. Importantly, they pull on the frame and not the canvas.
