4 Case Studies: Jatheon has a proven track record of migrating organizations from other well known email archiving vendors including: Barracuda Symantec EMC Arcmail In the following case study we will look at Manitex International and their migration from Barracuda to Jatheon s PnC email archiving solution. What to do when you lose all of your email Organization: Manitex International, Inc. Migrated from: Barracuda In 2011, Manitex International, Inc. an international engineered lifting equipment manufacturer had a problem. Like any large organization they had implemented an email archiving system in order to be compliant. That compliance was put at risk when their email archiving system failed. Losing All Your Data Charles Carden described the situation, We had some problems with the device, we couldn t log on to it, couldn t do anything with it. So they asked us to send it in to them for repair. As anyone who works with technology will understand, these issues do occur. Manitex real problem came from what happened next. The first thing they did when we put it in for repair is they deleted all the emails that were on the system. Carden continued, We lost everything, to me that was kinda contrary to what the device was supposed to be doing. We couldn t do business with them after that.
