Objective: -Producir información sobre las habilidades y posibilidades del cuerpo humano. - Extraer, interpretar y sintetizar información específica. CAN (ABILITY) El verbo 'Can' pertenece a los verbos modales y se ubica antes del verbo principal en infinitivo. Significa 'poder'. Se utiliza para expresar habilidad, permiso, posibilidad. En esta unidad trabajaremos can para mostrar habilidad ( ability ). Can presenta la misma forma para todos los pronombres. Example: "We can speak English", or "He can sing well." Here are the Simple Present forms of can for ability. (Estas son las formas de can en presente simple) Statements (afirmaciones) I can play the piano. She can drive a car. Questions Can you play the piano? Can she drive a car? Negatives I cannot play the piano. She cannot drive a car. Contractions (Forma contraída de cannot) Cannot and can't are the same: Example: - I cannot cook well. I can't cook well. Can't is much more common in spoken English.
