Product description Pump TM1 electrical DESCRIPTION The TM1 pump has a wild field of applications but is particularly suited to small machines with no more than about 20 lubrication points (see technical information). The TM1 pump is interchangeable with the manual XL5P, giving customers the ability to change esaily from a manual to an automatic system or vice versa. OPERATION The TM1 is an automatic driven piston pump with a spring discharge. The motor assembly determines the discharge cycle time (see table below) of the piston wich distributes oil through the system. TM1 pump is equipped with an electrical low level switch. Pumps are delivered with contact closed at the high position. Connect wire to terminal 2 et 3. 40 micron filters mounted at oil intake. 0.5 or 1 L The number of points which can be lubricated depends on the discharge setting of the pump. SERVICE INSTRUCTION PUMP TM1 0.5 L System: Your machine is equipped with a Bijur centralised lubricating system wich, if properly maintained, will correctly lubricate all the points in the system. Oil: Use only clean mineral oil of a quality and viscosity as recommended by the machine builder. Theoil characteristics must allow filtering fltration down to 25 microns without it separating. Start up: Fill the reservoir after having primed the pump, check if the system has been pressurised. If it has not, check direction of rotation of the motor. Service: Check oil level daily. Check periodically the tubing to ensure none are broken or crushed and that they are in good condition. Make sure all fittings are correctly tightened. Any excess grease around the machine should be investigated immediately. Lack of oil at the lubrication points: Verify the oil level in the reservoir the distribution circuit (e-g look for broken, crushed, or detached tubing or a leak at one of the fittings). Check also the condition of the filter. To reduce or increase the amount of oil being delivered to any given point, change the value of the meter unit at that point. Filter: A filter is incorporated in the pump to protect the system. It must be checked peridicaly and replaced once a year. Motor replacement: Lift off motor cover. The moto his held in position by two screws which allows motor to be replaced without dismantling the pump. Spare parts: For ordering, specify reference and type of pump.
