Documentation 1. The documentation set for etrust Cleanup r2.2 for CA-Top Secret Security includes the latest technology available for online viewing, keyword searching, bookmarking, and printing. Use the following job in CAI.SAMPJCL to download the file: For Adobe Acrobat Reader, the CAI.SAMPJCL (ISI22ACR) job unloads the Adobe Acrobat PDF files. Modify the JCL to comply with your site's standards. After you unload the file, move the archive files using a binary transfer method to a platform that supports Adobe Acrobat Reader. See the http://www.adobe.com web site for a list of supported platforms and more information. To unload the archive, use utilities native to that platform. This is a Gzipped-TAR archive or TGZ file. For Windows users, several utilities exist, for example, WinZip 6.3 or higher. UNIX platforms can use gzip and tar. Note: To process the PDF files, your Adobe Acrobat Reader software must be at the Release 5.0 or higher level. For further information on supported releases, please see the http://www.adobe.com web site. 2. Documentation is also available on SupportConnect. To locate the guides, follow these instructions: On the Web, go to http://ca.com/supportconnect. The CA Online Support page opens. Enter a SupportConnect user ID and password, and click Login. Summary of Changes Name Changes Programs, messages, REXX scripts, JCL procedures and jobs that began with TASA have been renamed to ETCL. All sample jobs in SAMPJCL have been updated to reference CA software installation libraries. Sample JCL procedure TASA and input parameter member TASAPARM are no longer provided in the SAMPJCL. New JCL ETCL procedure and ETCLPARM input parameter member are installed directly into the target CA software CAIPROC library. New Report Option PARM= BOTH The new report option PARM= BOTH reports both referenced and unreferenced items from the tracking database. The current UNREF parameter does not show a newly added item because it is too new (PARM= UNREF=30 shows only after 30 days has passed). The current REF parameter does not show it because it has not been used (unless REF=999 is specified). PARM= BOTH shows everything in the cleanup file. Automatic REINIT The etrust Cleanup r2.2 main task now detects new maintenance levels and automatically performs a REINIT if required. The previous release required the customer to manually issue the following command: S ETCL,,,REINIT command. This caused out-of-sync problems if it wasn t known or remembered to use REINIT. LMP Key Support CA LMP Key Certificate is now required. LMP key validation is performed for the main task and required for running the Report and Command Utility. SAMPJCL Improvements New sample SMP/E jobs for installation of the product into CA software libraries. These include the following: CAIALLOC A sample ALLOCATE job for creating SMP/E CAI product libraries. ISI22ACR A sample job to unload the etrust Cleanup r2.2 for CA-Top Secret Security documentation. ISI22ALL A sample JCL ALLOCATE job for SMP/E etrust Cleanup r2.2 libraries. ISI22APP A sample JCL SMP/E APPLY job for installing etrust Cleanup r2.2. ISI22REC A sample JCL SMP/E RECEIVE job for installing etrust Cleanup r2.2. ISI22ACC A sample JCL SMP/E ACCEPT job for installing etrust Cleanup r2.2. ISI22DEL A sample JCL SMP/E DELETE job for de-installing etrust Cleanup r2.2. ISI21DEL A sample JCL SMP/E DELETE job for de-installing etrust Cleanup r2.1. Additional sample jobs are provided DBRPT01 Provides selective reporting by group identifier. Grouping can be by department, division, zone, or user defined, and each group report is directed to a separate output file. DBRPT02 Provides selective reporting by group identifier. Grouping can be by department, division, zone, or user defined, and each group report is directed to a single output file with page breaks separating the groups. DBRPT03 Provides selective reporting and cleanup by user ID, resource class, or resource name. DBRPT04 Provides selective reporting and cleanup by group name. Group name can be a department, division, or zone name.

FB2VB Creates a variable-blocked command file from the standard fixed-blocked command output. Performance and Reliability Improvements The ETCL Report run time has been enhanced to improve performance in the report and command generation. The currently processed database record now appears in LOGREC data to assist debugging. If etrust Cleanup r2.2 abends for any reason, this additional information will be beneficial to speed up problem determination. Migration Considerations The etrust Cleanup r2.1 tracking database used by the tracking database load utility, the long-running ETCL main task and the report and command utility is compatible with etrust Cleanup r2.2. Installations using etrust Cleanup r2.1 may choose to skip Step 10: Create the etrust Cleanup r2.2 Tracking File of the Installation procedures in Chapter 3 of the etrust Cleanup r2.2 for CA-Top Secret Security Getting Started. Installations utilizing any special modification of REXX scripts should examine the code for possible impact from this change and take appropriate corrective actions (if necessary) prior to migration to r2.2. Section A - Installation Follow the installation procedures documented in the etrust Cleanup r2.2 for CA-Top Secret Security Getting Started. The JCL necessary to perform the installation is located in CAI.SAMPJCL (file 1). For the JCL to unload CAI.SAMPJCL please use the following sample: //UNLOAD JOB <-- Customize as appropriate //COPY EXEC PGM=IEBCOPY //SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=* //CART DD DISP=OLD,DSN=CAI.SAMPJCL, // UNIT=CART, // VOL=SER=T622nn, <-- Set "nn" to Service Pack level // LABEL=(1,SL,EXPDT=98000) //SAMPJCL DD DISP=(,CATLG,DELETE), // DSN=CAI.ETCL.SAMPJCL, <-- Your DSN // UNIT=SYSDA, <-- Your generic DASD // VOL=SER=xxxxxx, <-- Permanent DASD volser // SPACE=(3120,(125,5,5)), <-- Minimum space required // DCB=(RECFM=FB,LRECL=80,BLKSIZE=3120) //SYSIN DD * COPY INDD=CART,OUTDD=SAMPJCL /* Note regarding etrust Cleanup r2.2 for CA-Top Secret installation processing, ISI22ACC ACCEPT job: You can expect to see IEW2454W warning messages for program object bind processing. These are normal and can be ignored.

CAIRIM and LMP Keys etrust Cleanup r2.2 for CA-Top Secret Security is maintained by the CA License Management Program (LMP). LMP provides a standardized, automated approach to license management and is designed to eliminate the difficulties inherent in tracking the accurate licensed use of CA products. LMP runs as a component of CAIRIM. CAIRIM must be installed prior to initializing etrust Cleanup. You should already have received an LMP Product Key Certificate. If you do not have a valid LMP Key for the CPU on which you are running, CA Common Services message CAS9180E appears on your system console. If you have any questions about LMP and CAIRIM call the CA License Management Program Hotline at 1-800-338-6720 in North America (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). Outside of North America, contact your local CA Customer Support group during local business hours. We are dedicated to ensuring that your use of etrust Cleanup is successful and we want to thank you for your continued support of CA.
