Variable Water Flow System Providing superior cooling comfort 60 Hz
Innovative comfort solution Trane, the leading global provider of HVAC systems, solutions, and services, provides worry-free cooling solutions that will reduce costs and save you time and resources. Our Variable Water Flow (VWF) system is a newly-designed digital air-cooled variable chilled water system. It is an innovative total solution for cooling needs that demand a high level of performance and flexibility. It is not a mini chiller, but an integrated systematic solution for the cooling needs of light commercial buildings. As a total system designed to seamlessly work together, it provides: Superior indoor environment comfort for a variety of buildings Excellent energy efficiency to help achieve your energy-saving goals and save you money Flexible and easy installation saves you time and gets you into your building faster Unmatched service with a network of local, trained dealers and service teams that keep your system running at peak efficiency The advanced control system is capable of managing both outdoor and indoor units. This system supports a variety of schedule management tasks that will help you save money and energy by reducing equipment runtime and allowing the use of smaller capacity units. Worry-free cooling solutions from Trane allow you to focus on your business
Designed for quiet cooling, the outdoor and indoor units help create a more relaxed atmosphere without the disruptions of noisier fans A complete solution system VWF is a complete solution system designed to operate efficiently, not a series of random components. The system incorporates a digital air-cooled scroll chiller, concealed fan unit, cassette or high wall mounted chilled water unit, as well as either a LCD network thermostat or remote controller and a main central controller to provide a supreme comfort solution for both residential and light commercial client groups. Installation of a VWF chilled water system is cost effective and versatile either PVC or galvanized steel piping can be installed, as opposed to rigid piping in refrigerant systems. Plus, there is no danger of refrigerant leaking in your building. It s designed to be a sustainable system featuring a low-flow, low temperature, energy-efficient design that provides more usable finished space to help deliver higher performance at lower operating costs. This results in lower first costs, reduced energy costs and lower impact on the environment. Superior indoor comfort Providing a more comfortable environment for your customers or tenants can help to increase loyalty and reduce turnover. Precise temperature control helps maintain a more consistent comfort level Designed for quiet cooling, the outdoor and indoor units help create a more relaxed atmosphere without the disruptions of noisier fans Provides consistent indoor air flow distribution for more uniform cooling Our systems provide more stable temperatures than traditional air conditioning. Energy efficiency Trane is committed to providing leading environmentally conscious solutions that are energy efficient and can help you achieve your goals in a cost effective manner. Individual or multiple zone control and scheduling allow you to control zones separately based on specific cooling requirements based on usage and occupancy. This helps provide energy savings and reduces your operating costs. A stepless capacity modulator allows the compressor to run at ranges from 10 percent to 100 percent. This helps reduce energy costs as the system will only run as needed for efficient cooling. A digital scroll water chiller that is 5 percent to 100 percent adjustable and a two-speed water pump effectively help reduce the energy consumption and operating cost of the overall system. Placement of chilled water piping is adaptable either vertically or horizontally allowing the outdoor unit to be installed virtually anywhere outside the building Enjoy the freedom of adding or eliminating indoor units as your needs change without impact to overall performance The low-height design of the fan coil unit can easily be concealed in tight ceiling spaces and does not impact your interior design or use valuable floor or wall space Simple and easy installation Initial design of VWF systems is made easy with our TDS Selection Tool. It can select indoor/ outdoor units automatically based on your building load information. TDS is equipped with a user-friendly interface which helps you choose the right air-conditioning system and other Trane products. The flexible design and installation of the VWF systems from Trane provides you with opportunity to adjust your system in the future. Additional units can be added in any location or floor level and up to 18 units can be linked in one system. By taking advantage of compressor technology and the diversity of loads within a building, indoor unit capacity can total up to 200 percent of the capacity of a single outdoor unit. This lowers total installed cost as well as on-going operating cost. It also provides freedom of design and helps you save time. Trane has the service you need The right service contract can assure that your system s operation will remain reliable, efficient and cost effective for many years. Service and maintenance contracts are tailored to your needs which means you pay only for what you need A vast network of local, trained dealers and service teams can quickly respond to your needs We provide the assistance you need to evaluate and help you make qualified decisions on upgrading your existing system
