Lead: The Agency will soon be proposing lead rules applying in the specific nonattainment areas. Rules will require emissions controls on two specific sources. SO 2 : Extensive modeling has been done to identify all culpable sources of nonattainment within the two NAAs. Discussions with sources have begun. Statewide rule for sulfur content in fuel oil will be proposed. Rules covering specific sources that are impacting the NAAs will be proposed. David Bloomberg 12
