DIRECTIONS FOR USE SECTION 7: CROP, DISEASE, RATE, TIMING CROP DISEASE RATE RECOMMENDATIONS POTATO LATE BLIGHT (Phytophthora infestans) Apply TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide at a rate of 2.7 L/ha. Use a maximum of 3 applications of TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide per growing season as a foliar spray in a preventative program for control of late blight in potatoes. Begin applications when conditions are favourable for disease, but before infection, and continue on 7-14 day intervals until the threat of disease is over. When applying TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide on the longer spray interval (10-14 days), alternate with a fungicide from a different mode of action group between TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide applications. Use the 7 day interval when the risk and conditions for disease are high. Thorough spray coverage of all plant material (particularly lower stems) is essential to attain optimum systemic activity. GROUND APPLICATION: Apply TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide in 200-300 litres of water per hectare. AERIAL APPLICATION: Apply TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide in 45 litres of water per hectare. PHI potatoes: 7 days Apply by ground or air.

CROP DISEASE RATE RECOMMENDATIONS FIELD TOMATO LATE BLIGHT (Phytophthora infestans) Apply TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide at a rate of 2.7 L/ha with ground spray equipment in 200-300 litres of water per hectare, to assure uniform coverage of the crop foliage. Use a maximum of 3 applications of TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide per growing season as a foliar spray in a preventative program for control of late blight in field tomatoes. Begin applications when conditions are favourable for disease, but before infection, and continue on 7-14 day intervals until the threat of disease is over. NOTE TO USER: READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT FOR THE INDICATED SPECIAL USE APPLICATIONS (BELOW): The DIRECTIONS FOR USE for this product for the uses described below were developed by persons other than Bayer CropScience and accepted for registration by Health Canada under the User Requested Minor Use Label Expansion program. Bayer CropScience itself makes no representation or warranty with respect to performance (efficacy) or crop tolerance (phytotoxicity) claims for this product when used on the crops listed below. Accordingly, the Buyer and User assume all risks related to performance and crop tolerance arising, and agree to hold Bayer CropScience harmless from any claims based on efficacy or phytotoxicity in connection with the uses described below. CROP DISEASE RATE RECOMMENDATIONS Crop Group 9: cucurbits Citron melon, Muskmelon, Water Melon, Summer and Winter Squash, Pumpkin, Cucumber, Chayote (fruit), Chinese waxgourd, Gherkin, Edible Gourd, Momordica ssp. Downy mildew (Pseudoperonospora cubensis) 1.8 2.7 L/ha Apply TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide as a foliar spray in a preventative program. Apply in a spray volume of 300-600 L/ha. Begin applications when conditions are favourable for disease development but before infection occurs. Continue on 7-14 day intervals until the threat of disease is over. Use the high rate and shorter application interval under high disease pressure and when conditions of rapid disease development exist. When applying TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide using intervals longer than 7 days, alternate with an application of a contact fungicide between TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide applications. Do not apply more than 5 applications of TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide per growing season. Do not apply within 2 days of harvest. Ground application only.

SECTION 8: RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS For resistance management, please note that TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide contains a Group U and a Group M fungicide. Any fungal population may contain individuals naturally resistant to TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide and other Group U/M fungicides. A gradual or total loss of pest control may occur over time if these fungicides are used repeatedly in the same fields. Other resistance mechanisms that are not linked to site of action but specific for individual chemicals, such as enhanced metabolism, may also exist. Appropriate resistance-management strategies should be followed. To delay fungicide/bactericide resistance: Where possible, rotate the use of TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide or other Group U/M fungicides with different groups that control the same pathogens. Use tank mixtures with fungicide from a different group when such use is permitted. Fungicide use should be based on an IPM program that includes scouting, historical information related to pesticide use and crop rotation and considers cultural, biological and other chemical control practices. Monitor treated fungal populations for resistance development. If disease continues to progress after treatment with this product, do not increase the use rate. Discontinue use of this product, and switch to another fungicide with a different target site of action, if available. Contact your local extension specialist or certified crop advisors for any additional pesticide resistance-management and/or IPM recommendations for specific crops and pathogens. For further information and to report suspected resistance, contact Bayer CropScience representatives at 1-800-334-7577 or at www.bayercropscience.ca. SECTION 9: APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS - Treatment with any product containing chlorothalonil must be separated by a minimum of 7 days. - It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labelling. DO NOT apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. - To avoid spray drift, do not apply when winds exceed 16 kph. - DO NOT allow spray mixture to remain in the tank overnight, or for long periods during the day without agitation. Field sprayer application: DO NOT apply during periods of dead calm. Avoid application of this product when winds are gusty. DO NOT apply with spray droplets smaller than the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE) medium classification. Boom height must be 60 cm or less above the crop or ground. Aerial application: DO NOT apply during periods of dead calm. Avoid application of this product when winds are gusty. DO NOT apply when wind speed is greater than 16

km/h at flying height at the site of application. DO NOT apply with spray droplets smaller than the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE) medium classification. To reduce drift caused by turbulent wingtip vortices, the nozzle distribution along the spray boom length MUST NOT exceed 65% of the wing- or rotorspan. Buffer zones: The buffer zones specified in the table below are required between the point of direct application and the closest downwind edge of sensitive freshwater habitats (such as lakes, rivers, sloughs, ponds, prairie potholes, creeks, marshes, streams, reservoirs and wetlands) and estuarine/marine habitats. Method of Application Field sprayer Aerial Crop Buffer Zones (metres) Required for the Protection of: Freshwater Habitat of Depths: Less than 1 m Greater than 1 m Estuarine/Marine Habitats of Depths: Less than 1 m Greater than 1 m Potato, Cucurbits, Field 2 1 2 1 Tomato Fixed wing 55 1 55 15 Potato Rotary wing 40 1 40 15 Apply TATTOO C Suspension Concentrate Fungicide only by rotary or fixed-wing aircraft which has been functionally and operationally calibrated for the atmospheric conditions of the area and the application rates and conditions of this label. Apply only at the rate recommended for aerial application on this label. Where no rate for aerial application appears for the specific use, this product cannot be applied by any type of aerial equipment. Ensure uniform application. To avoid streaked, uneven or overlapped application, use appropriate marking devices. Use Precautions for Aerial Applications: Apply only when meteorological conditions at the treatment site allow for complete and even crop coverage. Apply only under conditions of good practice specific to aerial application as outlined in the National Aerial Pesticide Application Manual, developed by the Federal/Provincial/Territorial Committee on Pest Management and Pesticides. Apply only when the potential for drift to areas of human habitation or areas of human activity such as houses, cottages, schools and recreational areas is minimal. Take into consideration wind speed, wind direction, temperature inversions, application equipment and sprayer settings.

Operator Precautions for Aerial Applications: Do not allow the pilot to mix chemicals to be loaded onto the aircraft. Loading of premixed chemicals with a closed system is permitted. It is desirable that the pilot has communication capabilities at each treatment site at the time of application. The field crew and the mixer/loaders must wear chemical resistant gloves, coveralls and safety goggles or face shield during mixing/loading, cleanup and repair. Follow the more stringent label precautions in cases where the operator precautions exceed the generic label recommendations on the existing ground boom label. All personnel on the job site must wash hands and face thoroughly before eating and drinking. Protective clothing, aircraft cockpit and vehicle cabs must be decontaminated regularly. Product Specific Precautions for Aerial Applications: Read and understand the entire label before opening this product.
