Interior Design, Merchandising & Textiles Graduate Program Information Concerning the Application for Admission Students are admitted to the Interior Design, Merchandising & Textiles graduate programs at different times of the year. To be most competitive for assistantships, students should apply no later than March 15 for the fall semester and October 15 for the spring semester. Applications are evaluated by the faculty only if the application is complete (e.g., items 1-8 on page 2 of this form) by the deadlines below. April 1 November 1 Decision date for selection of successful applicants and notification sent concerning the decision reached. May 1 November 1 Deadline for successful applicants to notify the Director of Graduate Studies of their intention to enroll. Students may take courses under post-baccalaureate status prior to admission to the program. Up to (9) hours of these and any other graduate work may be transferred tot he program. The list below will provide you with the items needed and to what office they should be sent. Keep this checklist for your records. 1. Graduate Record Exam Scores. The department needs to be informed of these scores by its deadline. However, the Graduate School must receive an official report of these scores by its deadline (one month prior to the beginning of the term for which you are applying). 2.
