SOCCE FUN GAME (3) (1v 1. 2 v 2. 3 v 3) AEA: 40 yards 20 yards. Two cones (c) on either end. PLAYES. Players divide into two teams. One team each between the cones who link arms. The cones are placed two yards either side of the two END players in each team as per sketch. Give the players from each team the same number each. Place soccer ball on the half way line. The coach calls out a number. Eample (3). oth (3s) sprint towards the ball. The remaining players link up arms again, The first player to the ball becomes the attacker and the other the defender. He must attempt to attack the other goal to score. If the defending (3) gains posssession then their roles are reversed. The players between the cones MUST NOT advance off their lines and MUST keep their arms linked at all times but they CAN move from side to side between the cones. Where a shot is blocked by players on the line then they should attempt to pass the ball to their own player (3), Continue until EVEY numbered player s numbers have been called out. POGESSION: each line. Coach now calls out TWO numbers at the same time from This provides the two players with the ball to introduce SUPPOT play to each other while the DEFENDING TWO players must be encouraged to mark either, an opposing player or space. Players in possession may pass the ball to their own team on the line in order to receive a pass back so as to encourage 1-2 play. When a goal is scored or, the ball goes out of play then the players return to their respective lines, link up arms and the coach continues calling out another number (s). Continued

FUN GAME (2) AEA: Penalty Area. PLAYES: All with a ball each. () without ball. On PLAY, the players with soccer balls dribble around inside the area. At any time the coach shouts CHANGE. The players leave their own balls and move to another, place foot on the ball and stand still. This includes the player who started without a ball. The one player now WITHOUT a ball leaves the area. The coach nominates ONE player to remove his soccer ball from the area and the drill continues. Continue until the LAST player with a soccer ball is the WINNE. HINTS: Encourage the players to look up while moving around. This will encourage them to FEEL the ball rather than looking at it as well as, avoiding colliding with each other.

SOCCE FUN GAMES (3) SOCCE CHAIN AEA: Half Pitch. PLAYES: All. One player located outside of area emainder inside the area each with a ball. On PLAY, the players dribble around inside the area. On GO from the coach the outside player enters the area and must TAG any player. The tagged player leaves his ball and the two players joins hands.. They must now TAG another player and continue until there are FOU players who have joined hands to form a chain. They continue as before ECEPT, the net player who is tagged must NOW commence to tag other players in order to form ANOTHE chain. The drill continues to form chains of FOU players until there is ONE player remaining still with a ball who is the WINNE HINTS. Once there are two or more players in the chain then they CANNOT break the chain at any time. ALL players MUST remain INSIDE the area at all times. elevant to the number of players available then the CHAIN can be MOE or LESS than FOU. SUMMAY: Whilst a FUN GAME it provides the coach with the opportunity to encourage the players with soccer balls to constantly look up in order to observe and avoid other players and chains.

THE TWO ALL GAME. AEA: 40 40 yards - 60 60 yards relevant to number of players. One small sided goal in each corner, use cones if necessary = Goal. O = Soccer alls. PLAYES: Two teams (Goal keepers optional). Each team wear a different colored bib. Two different colored soccer ball, one to each team. 1 2 O O 4 3 THE EECISE: oth teams have a soccer ball.. The purpose is for their team to retain possession of their ball in order to score ONE GOAL in each of the four goals while at the same time, endeavoring to gain possession of the other team s soccer ball. When they score a goal they retrieve their ball but CANNOT score in that same goal again. If one team gains possession of the other teams soccer ball then they can continue using both balls while the opposing team must now try to gain possession of one or both balls. SUMMAY: Great fun game but with a competitive edge. It will encourage player s awareness, ball control, support play, communication, shooting and finishing.
