Laboratory Methods In Physical Chemistry [Physical Chemistry Laboratory.] (3) (Terefe Habteyes) Introduction to modern physical chemistry laboratory techniques including computational chemistry, quantum mechanical description of molecular rotations, molecular vibrations and electronic absorption, and thermodynamics. One lecture, 6 hrs. lab. Prerequisite: 311 or (315 and 351L). 412. Advanced Physical Chemistry. (3) (Terefe Habteyes, David Keller) Advanced topics in physical chemistry, including statistical mechanics, reaction kinetics, chemical dynamics and transition state theory will be discussed.
