a) For Director/DS: Five years' regular service in the scale of Rs.15600-39100 (PB- 3) + Grade Pay Rs.7600 (5th CPC scale of Rs.12000-16500) or equivalent for appointment in the Pay Band of Rs.37400-67000 (PB-4) + Grade Pay Rs.8700/-. Five years' regular service in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3)+Grade Pay Rs.6600 (5th CPC scale of Rs.10000-15200) or equivalent for appointment in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay RS.7600. b) For Deputy Director: Five years' regular service in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-- 39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay RS.5400/- (5 th CPC scale of Rs.8000-13500/-) or equivalent. General Conditions: 1) The interested eligible candidates may get their applications forwarded from their respective organizations in the given proforma (Annexure-l) along with up-todate ACR dossier, Vigilance Clearance and details of penalties, if any, imposed during the preceding ten years. The last date for receipt of application will be six weeks from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News. The applications are to be sent to the Chairman, Forward Markets Commission, Everest, 3 rd Floor, 100 Marine Drive, Mumbai 400 002 and superscribed "Application for the Post of " on the envelope. 2) Applications received after expiry of the prescribed period and/or found to be incomplete in any manner or not submitted in prescribed proforma will not be entertained. 3) Period of deputation (including short term contract) including period of deputation (ISTC) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. 4) The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall not be exceeding 56 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of application. 5) The terms and conditions of deputation will be regulated in accordance with OMs/ Orders issued by the Department of Personnel & Training and as amended from time to time. 6) Candidates belonging to State Governments, Central/State PSUs, Universities, Financial Institutions, Autonomous/Statutory Bodies with dissimilar pay structure vis-à-vis the posts under selection are requested to submit chart showing 3

hierarchical levels and their respective positions in the hierarchy of the organization, the duties performed by the candidates in their parent organization, vis-à-vis those in the posts under selection and qualifications and experience required for the post being applied for. 7) The Selection Committee at its discretion may consider candidates possessing lower basic qualification lent with extra or other qualification(s) and appropriate domain knowledge/expertise subject to the candidate being minimum a graduate and having experience in the relevant field. 8) The decision of the Selection Committee will be final in all matters, particularly issues relating to eligibility of candidates, processing of applications, and matters relating to selection of candidates. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. 9) Canvassing in any form would be an immediate disqualification, without any communication to the candidate. 10) The posts are temporary, continued on yearly basis, and likely to be made permanent in due course. Therefore, the Cadre Clearance from the Cadre Controlling authority may be given for at least three years. 11) The, officers selected and appointed on deputation will have to serve in the Commission for at least 2 (two) years. 12) The officers may be posted in Mumbai or in any other place in India as may be decided by the Commission. 4
