Denmark Consumer Products Services s and lab tours 2014 Denmark

seminars and lab tours 2014 Consumer Products Services has the scope and expertise to support manufacturers, importers and retailers by maintaining innovative supply chain management solutions, in more than 140 countries. Are you and your organization continuously looking at developing new products and entering new markets? We are providing product testing, compliance testing, certification, inspections, audits, consultancy and seminars. The vast majority of products are increasingly sourced from other continents, making the supply chain of consumer goods often complex and multi-layered. We attach a particular importance to our customer s learning needs and create our seminar topics on the basis of questions and challenges along our client s business. We can cater to any of your questions due to the smaller amount of participants in our seminars. You are welcome to tell us your need of information beforehand. VAT for the seminar in Members of Dansk Mode & Textil receive a 10% discount There is a continued focus on chemical substances in the international fashion and textile industry. Textile manufacturers, retailers and importers who do not have their own quality specifications or manuals often face the problem of how to launch a safe product on the European market that is compliant with quality and market requirements, thereby avoiding unnecessary test, delays and even product recalls. Drafting a product-specific requirements manual is extremely important but also complex and time-consuming: this seminar provides an overview of legal requirements for your product and demonstrates supply chain solutions in order to fulfill chemical and physical responsibilities. Therefore, we are continuing our successful seminars with a current program to update you on the REACH regulation, the candidate list, the requirements for substances in articles, and more specific topics from our international experts. Frequently changing designs and trends in the textile industry make manufacturers, retailers and importers face the challenge of consistently having to assure high quality. At the same time national and international legal requirements must be met, the quality demand of the consumer satisfied, the brand image maintained and customer complaints avoided. Additionally, ecological and social factors need to be considered. We explain how to avoid diminished material properties and present possibilities to improve the quality of your product. Learn how fails happen, like pill formation, missing dimensional accuracy or fading textiles and how to reduce the risk of returns or complaints. is now opening up a Lab Tour to Germany. You are invited to see our state of the art testing laboratory in, the workflow in the laboratory and at the same time you can join seminars and get the opportunity to discuss all your questions with our experts e.g. about testing, quality improvement, BSCI audits, inspections or standards. VAT Members of Dansk Mode & Textil receive a 10% discount update for participants of our previous softlines seminars With increasing concern about the adverse effects on our health and environment from hazardous substances, several countries have enacted legislation and restrictions for a number of hazardous substances. These requirements affect a variety of industries including apparel and footwear. There is also continued pressure from governmental agencies, nongovernmental organizations and a changing competitive marketplace to reduce the exposure of the user and environment to various chemicals that present health hazards. Many brands, retailers and manufacturers have adopted chemical management programs to address this challenge. This seminar gives you an update on recent regulatory changes concerning hazardous chemicals, the REACH regulation and ECHA candidates. Also we would like to update you on new or changed quality and market requirements for softlines. Update on the REACH regulation and ECHA candidates Chemicals in products how to identify relevant SVHC substances? Focus on substances as PFOS, PFOA, SCCP, PAH, Phthalates, and others Update on changes in physical testing standards and their effect on test results Factory safety issues in Bangladesh BSCI update for 2015 Requirements hardlines and electrical products day and lab tour The electrical and electronics and the hardline industries face a number of challenges preparing their products for the global marketplace: Identifying and complying with international requirements in a changing regulatory environment, optimizing product development, assessing suppliers and auditing their factories, and monitoring quality throughout the supply chain. Since hardlines encompasses an extensive array of products, ranging from furniture, jewelry, appliances, electrical and electronic products, office and household goods, to candles and more - they often require a variety of specialized testing and evaluation to a broad scope of standards. For electrical and electronics and hardline goods it is also critical to the success of a product to identify appropriate performance requirements by market in order to meet compliance criteria. This seminar provides information and assistance with testing and evaluating to domestic and international safety and quality standards.
