Knights It is the time of ower lord 1066. I m Sterling the lll, and I m going to tell you a story of my great life, but very tough. It all starts out when I was a young boy running about our castle. My father, Sterling the ll, was the king of over land. I was around six years old and we were about to eat dinner, you re probably wondering why I m telling you this, well you ll find out in just a second. And my father said that I had to train to be a knight. Now at such an age I thought it would be fun. But I soon realized it was going to be tough! I may not see my parent again. Being away for almost 15 years. Not pretty, but wait that s not all, having to work for all those years. Come on, I have to live with strangers. One more thing I don t have to live only one family, I have to live with three or more families. I m now in a noble s house, but I don t like it. I m still having to do a lot of hard work. Serving them food and watching

them scarf it down is gross. They eat more than we do and were rich. After seven years of that I now live with a knight. I was lucky the noble thought I was able. Still this is not easy. I have to clean his armor and still have to be polite. When the land is in trouble, I have to put his armor on him. After a couple years I finally get to do something fun. I got to learn how to fight and use a sword. This is the most fun I ve had so far, and he said it will make me stronger. I only used a wooden sword too, but then came the day I got a steel sword. He said it was mine for battle. Now I m 21 years old, and about become a knight. I just took a pilgrimage to the church. Now I m ready for battle in search of my father. My first battle came to be and the word is that William the Conqueror was fighting. I m getting ready and a girl came to me and gave me my castle s colors. She said she knew me but I had no clue who she was. She insisted she

lived at my home land. When I was about to ask her how she knew me and who she was, she was gone. I can t worry about that now. I m about to go into battle. When it came to be in the battlefield, it was hard. Their he was he was sitting down the hill, just waiting for us to attack. I got tired of waiting and just then I heard a yelling as loud as hundred men. Then I heard a whistling, then about fifty men fell to the grown. Just before somebody yelled arrows. I was pushed under my horse, by a knight, my knight. He was my knight, I could never forget that armor. Good thing too. When I got up my horse had nine arrows in his side armor, but still he was not hurt. Now I m mad, I pulled out the arrows, picked up a sword, and ran toward the enemy. There, William, he was fighting a strong man. The man looked at me, wait the man has the same armor. I sat there thinking, could he be my father. Right then I looked up and to fight for me life I saw the man fall and so did William. But my fa. The man had an arrows piercing through his neck. I jumped

off me horse and ran to0werd William and slashed him in the back. I almost puked from seeing all the blood from his back. After that I ran away from that area. Then I found a knight. Now I thought I was in trouble. He attacked me but I blocked him. Then I attacked him, he caught my sword somehow. He through it and laughed, that made furious. I ran and tackled him, then I hit him in the face mask till he was dead. When I stopped my hand was cut up and gushing blood. Before I knew it the battle was over. Now I will not ever forget the Battle of Mantis. When I got to my normal life again I wanted to find the girl before I do everything I want to go to the castle. When I was in town they hung the colors that symbolized an important death. When I got to the castle I saw my mom and the girl. She was behind here. I walked up to them and she said Sterling! I replied, Yes.

My mom said, At last you ve returned. I asked the girl, Are my sister? She said, Yes. Then I asked, Why are you crying? She asked, Did you see a man with the same armor as you? Yes Was he my father? Yes. He died fighting William. I saw that and cut his back wide open. The girl said, Dads

No Williams I cut him from his back to his neck. They said the word is a young knight killed him. He bled to death. I also fought a knight and when I saw him fight, but when I attacked him he caught my sword, and threw it. That made me so made that I ran and tackled him then hit him in the face mask till he died. The worst part was I saw my father die. He would have beat William but someone shot him right through the neck. But know I can end this story, after all this I can truly live a normal life.
