All: Her name was Little Red Riding Hood. Narrator 4: She wore Narrator 5: A pretty red hood,

2 Narrator 6: A cape the same. All: And that s how Red Riding Hood got her name. Narrator 1: One day her mother told her, Mother: I want you to take your poor sick grandma this little cake. You must go through the woods. I am going to worry. Red Riding Hood: Dear Mama, Narrator 2: Red Riding Hood said, Red Riding Hood: I will hurry. Narrator 3: So Red Riding Hood ran for almost a mile. Narrator 4: Then she sat down to rest a while. All Narrators: Along came MR. WOLF! Narrator 5: He said, Wolf: Red Riding Hood! How nice to meet you. You look so pretty, I could eat you! I see you mama was doing some baking. Tell me, Red Riding Hood, where are you taking that little cake? Narrator 1: Red Riding Hood said, Red Riding Hood: Oh, Mr. Wolf, I am going to take my poor sick grandma this little cake. Narrator 2: The wolf said, Wolf: And where does your grandma live, my dear? Red Riding Hood: Near the big oak tree. Not far from here.

Narrator 4: Then she sat down to rest a while. All Narrators: Along came MR. WOLF! Narrator 5: He said, Wolf: Red Riding Hood! How nice to meet you. You look so pretty, I could eat you!

3 Narrator 3: Red Riding Hood said. Narrator 4: The wicked wolf thought, Wolf: Aha! Oho! I ll find a way to gobble two people up today. Narrator 5: The wicked wolf said, Wolf: Red riding Hood, your grandma s sick. Don t you think that you should pick some flowers for her? Red Riding Hood: Oh, yes! Narrator 6: said Little Riding Hood Red Riding Hood: I m sure my poor sick Grandma would like some flowers. Narrator 1: She picked one flower, and then another. She quite forgot she had promised her mother to hurry. Narrator 2: But The wolf ran fast faster than fast. He reached the grandma s door at last. All narrators: Tap-tap Grandma: Who is there? Who is there? Narrator 3: Grandmama cried. Wolf: Red riding Hood. Let me inside, Narrator 4: said the wolf. Narrator 5: He tried to make his voice sound sweet. Wolf: I ve brought you a little cake to eat.

Narrator 6: said Little Riding Hood Red Riding Hood: I m sure my poor sick Grandma would like some flowers. Narrator 1: She picked one flower, and then another.

4 Grandma: Come in! Come in! Narrator 6: Grandmama said. Grandma: I can t get up. I m sick in bed. All Narrators: SO THE WOLF OPENED THE DOOR AND WENT INSIDE AND GOBBLED UP THE GRANDMOTHER. Narrator 1: Then the wicked wolf got into bed Narrator 2: with Grandma s cap upon his head Narrator 3: He put on her glasses, too. Narrator 4: And now he waits for you-know-who. Narrator 5: And here she comes. What will she do? Narrator 6: She sees the door is open wide. All Narrators: RED RIDING HOOD! DON T GO INSIDE! Narrator 1: Red Riding Hood calls, Red Riding Hood: Grandma, Grandma! Are you there? Grandma, Grandma! Tell me where you are. Narrator 2: But Grandma did not say a word. Narrator 3: Red Riding Hood ran to her grandma s bed Grandma: Here is something for you to eat Narrator 4: she said.

Narrator 5: And here she comes. What will she do? Narrator 6: She sees the door is open wide. All Narrators: RED RIDING HOOD! DON T GO INSIDE!

5 Red Riding Hood: See this little cake. And here are some Oh! Grandma! Why do you look at me so? Grandma, what big eyes you have. Wolf: The better to see you, my dear. Red Riding Hood: Grandma, what big arms you have! Wolf: The better to hug you, my dear. Red Riding Hood: Oh, Grandma! What big teeth you have! Wolf: THE BETTER TO EAT YOU! Narrator 5: And the wicked wolf, without more ado, Narrator 6: Ate Red Riding Hood and the little cake, too. Narrator 1: Soon the wolf fell asleep. He snored loud and long. Narrator 2: A hunter was passing. He thought, Hunter: Something s wrong. I never have heard the old lady snore that loud and that long. I ll just look in the door. Narrator 3: When the hunter saw the wolf, he said, Hunter: So there you are, you mean old sinner! Have you eaten Red Riding Hood s Grandma for dinner? Narrator 4: He took his knife and he cut the wolf s belly. Narrator 5: Out jumped Red Riding Hood. Red Riding Hood: Oh, it was smelly in there. Narrator 5: she said. Narrator 6: Then out came Grandma.

Narrator 5: And the wicked wolf, without more ado, Narrator 6: Ate Red Riding Hood and the little cake, too. Narrator 1: Soon the wolf fell asleep. He snored loud and long.

6 Grandma: Thank goodness! Narrator 6: she cried. Grandma: What took you so long? I almost died in there. Narrator 1: The hunter said, Hunter: Now get lots of stones whatever it takes to fill the wolf s belly before he awakes. Narrator 2: They put in the stones. Narrator 3: Then with needle and thread Narrator 4: Grandma sewed up the wolf Narrator 5: While he slept in her bed. Narrator 6: The wolf woke up. Narrator 1: He looked around. Narrator 2: He tried to run Narrator 3: He fell to the ground. All Narrators: The stones were very heavy. Wolf: This is the end, Narrator 4: The wicked wolf said. Narrator 5: He took one more step Narrator 6: And he fell down dead. All Narrators: AND THAT WAS THE END OF THE WICKED WOLF!

Narrator 3: Then with needle and thread Narrator 4: Grandma sewed up the wolf Narrator 5: While he slept in her bed. Narrator 6: The wolf woke up. Narrator 1: He looked around.
