Most features of the TENEO 317, such as the new eyetracker, the spot distribution and the plume evacuator have been dramatically improved. This leads to a smoother procedure with excellent and predictable results. ACE Eyetracker A faster, new generation eyetracker incorporating a co-axial camera designed for precision and safety. A highly sophisticated multi-dimensional eyetracker is key to ensuring low retreatment rates. New spot distribution of Cold Ablation Treatment cards, used in the past, no longer control the shape of the truncated Gaussian laser beam. In the TENEO 317 a novel Optical Element inside the laser arm creates the shape of the laser beam. The low energy soft spot is now 1mm and overlaps only once every 16 pulses, therefore minimizing the thermal effect. This, combined with the performance of the eyetracker, leads to smooth ablation, safety and predictability. New Plume Evacuator The eight cones distributed homogenously over 270 provide controlled aspiration and contribute to uniform laser beam delivery. The integrated plume evacuation system clears out the operating fi eld during the entire ablation process making the procedure more pleasant, especially for the patient. New Stabilizing Energy System (SES) Due to the sealed and nitrogen fl ushed design of the beam path, pulse energies are stabilised making the system less sensitive to environmental conditions.
