Avoid contamination of feed or food, including such crops on which residue is unsafe. Do not contaminate fertilizer, seed and like commodities. Causes severe injury to Concord Grapes, some injury to Lima Beans, Geraniums and Chrysanthemums. When spraying in greenhouses and during commercial or prolonged exposure in spray, mixing and loading operations, wear chemical resistant gloves and a suitable mask or respirator for THIODAN 50WP protection, such as American Optical Respirator 5058 or Wilson Agritox Respirator.

FIRST AID: Take container, label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention. INGESTION: If swallowed, induce vomiting by touching back of throat with finger; repeat until vomit fluid is clear. Rush patient to nearest hospital taking this labelled container with you, or contact a poison control centre. SKIN CONTACT: In case of skin contact, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water. EYE CONTACT: If in eyes, flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes and go to nearest hospital at once, or contact a poison control centre. INHALATION: If inhaled, remove patient to fresh air, administer artificial respiration if not breathing and summon medical help immediately. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Medical personnel should contact Aventis medical information services toll-free: 1-800-334-7577. Endosulfan is a central nervous system stimulant. Symptoms of poisoning are nausea, headache, general feeling of being unwell, followed by generalized convulsion. There is no specific antidote. Use saline cathartics and gastric lavages. Amobarbitol-sodium may be given intravenously for convulsions. Do not give stimulants. STORAGE: Store the tightly closed bag away from feeds, seeds, fertilizer, plants and foodstuffs. Keep in original container during storage. CONTAINER DISPOSAL: 1. Empty the bag thoroughly into the spray mixture in the tank. 2. Render the empty bag unsuitable for further use. 3. Dispose of the bag in accordance with provincial requirements. 4. For information on the disposal of unused, unwanted product, contact the provincial regulatory agency or the manufacturer. Contact the manufacturer and the provincial regulatory agency in case of a spill or for clean-up of spills. DISPOSAL OF UNUSED SPRAY SOLUTION: If any spray solution remains in the tank after spraying is finished, it should be sprayed on the perimeter of the field just sprayed - NOT ON THE CROP and away from water supplies, ditches and irrigation canals. NOTICE TO USER:

This control product is to be used only in accordance with these directions on this label. It is an offence under the Pest Control Products Act to use a control product under unsafe conditions. Rates per hectare for tree fruits are based on mature trees. For vegetables and small fruits, use sufficient water for thorough coverage, depending on foliage development and spray equipment. Thorough wetting of all plant parts, which are to be treated, is essential for good results. Agitate spray mixture continuously. Rust Mite, Pear Apply when local government 1.5kg/1000 L Psylla, Codling spray letters or calendars 6.75 kg/ha Moth recommend spraying for these insects. DO NOT APPLY WITHIN 15 DAYS OF HARVEST. For Peach 1000 L, Plum Rust Mite, Silver Mite, use the higher rate. 3.25-4.5 Green Peach Aphid, Apply at the time and rate as kg/ha Mealy Plum Aphid, recommended in local government Twig Borer, spray letters or calendars.
