Go for 2&5 DRYANDRA TETRATHLON 2016 Hosted by the Dryandra Pony Club Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th February 2016 Dryandra Regional Equestrian Park Darcy Street, Cuballing WA The TETRATHLON consists of four phases: SATURDAY: Running Swimming Shooting all classes run1500 m at Dryandra Regional Equestrian Park, Cuballing. Running Course open for walking 7.30am 4 minute swim at Narrogin Leisure Centre, Clayton Rd, Narrogin 30 metre.22 rifle target shoot SUNDAY: Cross Country A Grade 105 cm, B Grade 95 cm, C Grade 80 cm, D Riding Grade 65cm, E Grade 45 cm. at Dryandra Regional Equestrian Park, Cuballing CLASSES: No. Class 1. A Grade Pairs* Each member of a pair must complete 2 of the 4 phases, 1 competitor of the pair may also be competing as an individual and use the scores from 2 phases of their individual entry for their pair entry. NOTE This event will be run under PCAWA rules. Cross country phase to be ridden in

suitable riding attire (i.e. pony club cross country uniform or equivalent e.g. long sleeved shirt, approved boots and helmet must be worn). Pony Club gear checking will be enforced for all classes. Over 18 you must have the PCAWA annual insurance. You must include you PCAWA membership number or your Annual Insurance number. If you are in a pair and not competing in the cross country horse riding phase you do not require the PCAWA insurance but must complete the PCAWA Disclaimer. ENTRIES CLOSE 17th FEBRUARY 2016. Late entries may be accepted with a $20 late fee (at discretion of the organizing committee) Details of the draw (including helper duties) will be available On the cavaletti website and emailed to competitors if an email address is provided. FOOD

The canteen will be operating over the weekend with drinks and snacks available on Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday egg and bacon rolls will be available for breakfast and salad rolls for lunch. The Shooting club will have a sausage sizzle and drinks available during the shooting phase. ENTERTAINMENT The Shire of Cuballing will be holding a music festival at the Cuballing Oval, adjacent to the Equestrian Centre. This is a free event between 6.30 and 10 pm. LIABILITY The Organising Committee of the Tetrathlon, the PCAWA and the Dryandra Pony Club, or any person acting on their behalf, do not accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, competitors, spectators or any person or property whatsoever. All Competitors compete at their own risk.

NOTES: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 1. Pairs may consist of either two adult riders or one adult and one junior or two juniors. 2. All competitors must include either the PCAWA Member or their current Annual Insurance number. 3. All Competitors must sign the Disclaimer attached (including PCAWA members) 4. One competitor, one helper rule applies. No competitor will be allowed to compete if an individual helper is not available. 5. CURRENT PCAWA RULES FOR TETRATHLON AND EVENTING APPLY. PLEASE REFER TO PCAWA WEBSITE AT http://www.pcawa.com/tetrathlon AND http://www.pcawa.com/eventing 6. MEDICAL ARMBANDS COMPULSORY. 7. As of 1 st January 2011, all competitors in all grades must wear a body protector for the cross country riding phase. 8. Age for all classes is determined on age at 1 st January 2016. 9. Competitors must be at least 8 years old as at 1 st of January 2016 to compete in any phase of the Tetrathlon. 10. Each competitor must supply their own bib style number holder for all phases. 11. Yards must be reserved for the weekend ($15) by prior arrangement to t.w.dowling@bigpond.com. Please note yards are 3 sided with a 1.2 m opening requiring rope to secure horse/pony. 12. Bio-Security measures will be in place; however, bio-security forms are not required. 13. The organising committee reserves the right to alter start times and or combine or cancel classes if numbers require. Please check website for updated information before event. 14. The one horse, one rider rule will apply for all classes, eg. horses may be entered for one class only and may not be entered in any other class. 15. Competitors may only compete in one class. 16. Minimum age for horses 4 years 17. Dogs are NOT allowed at any of the venues including Dryandra Regional Equestrian Park. 18. If this event is cancelled once competition is underway due to extreme weather. There will be a no refund policy ACCOMMODATION Camping is available at the Dryandra Regional Equestrian Park.
