DIWA Automatic Transmission Oil Analysis What is it? A way to improve the life of your transmission Why use it? Reduce downtime Maximize equipment life Avoid major failures Voith interprets the results How to use it? Purchase the kit Take the sample and drop it in the mail Receive the interpreted results from Voith and the lab Voith is pleased to announce a new service to our customers to improve the life of their transmission and decrease downtime. By using the Voith Oil Analysis Program we will analyze the condition of your transmission and advise you on potential problems while still allowing you to see the results of ATF testing.through the use of our program you will maintain a reliable fleet by warding off unexpected equipment downtime and be able to schedule maintenance at planned times. Automatic Transmission DIWA.6 Cost Containment and Control What is the true cost of unplanned downtime for a bus? Loss of revenue, reallocating personnel, direct cost of repairs, and more. Our analysis program will assist you in keeping your maintenance cost down by identifying potential problems while they are small and relatively inexpensive as compared to a major failure and the need for a complete transmission overhaul. In the transit industry the old saying forewarned is forearmed is absolutely true when it comes to knowing what is going on inside your transmission. Image how much more efficient you could be if you knew when to schedule preventative maintenance on your transmissions and by having the original equipment manufacturer monitoring and advising you on your units what extra advantage you would have. Management Efficiency If you currently use an oil analysis program ask yourself, How much time do I devote to interpreting our test results? How well do you really understand what you are viewing? Sure, the lab may tell you that some results are at a critical level but how do they know for sure? Would it not be better to have an individual at the factory that is certified as an oil monitoring analyst interpreting these results for you? Think of the potential problems they could spot long before they become a major problem based on their experience and training. Consider your efficiency as a manager. How would not having to crisis management for a bus down improve your efficiency? Using Voith Oil Analysis we will give you a tool to perform predictive scheduled maintenance rather than crisis maintenance. What is involved? The program would involve your purchase of sample kits which are priced competitively with other major oil analysis labs. These samples are taken using one of several methods which we will advise you on and then are sent to our analytical chemistry and testing lab with is fully accredited. The lab we use has locations in both the United States for our U.S. customers and in Canada for our Canadian customers. This insures prompt processing of the samples and timely results. When you first send in a sample you are given a user name and password which allows you as well as the oil monitoring analyst at Voith to read and review the results when the testing is complete. The lab results are then evaluated and placed into a spreadsheet to become part of a data base for your fleet. Voith can then perform statistical and trend analysis of the data to help predict future courses of action. The test results are available to you online, at any time, and at any location by simply having an internet connection, login and password. Perform predictive scheduled maintenance rather than crisis maintenance.
