This agreement contains the entire understanding of the parties with respect to the stated subject matter and can be modified only by a signed, written agreement. This agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland and the U.S. copyright laws. This agreement is binding upon the author's heirs and personal representatives. If any term of this agreement shall be found invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be enforced to the fullest extent that it is valid and enforceable under applicable law, and all other provisions of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect. ASN Embargo Policy a. Manuscripts published in The Journal of Nutrition (JN) are embargoed until the article is published online either as in press (Articles in Press) or as a final version.
