CONTROL INTERFACES: Source selection with 3 different inputs are available as stated below, control of volume up and down, along with treble and bass, can be reached over any one of the interfaces, including the unit keypads, IR Remote Control (through the Remote Control and IR Receiver) or RS-232. Source selection over remote control: Input 1: Stereo RCA (default source) Input 2: Stereo 3.5mm MIC Sound levels and tone settings using the Remote Control: The overall volume level (0 lowest ~ 20 highest), factory preset value at 5 o Bass (L.1 lowest ~ L.9 highest), factory preset value at 5 o Treble (H.1 lowest ~ H.9 highest), factory preset value at 5 o Mute: No signal output Note: The unit has a memory function for all of the above controls including Source Selection, level of Volume, Bass, Treble, and Mute while power is shut down. But all these can be reset to default settings again, simply press and hold the Mute button for 3 seconds until red LED illuminates steadily after flashing 3 times. This reset function over the Mute key can be done using the keypad on the main unit or via the Remote Control. BLUETOOTH RECEIVER MODULE: This Wireless Stereo Audio Receiver and Amplifier supports play back of audio signals from Bluetooth-enabled devices such as a smartphone, tablet, PC or other device supporting Bluetooth Version 2.1 and A2DP profile A blue LED indicator light shows modes of operation over the Bluetooth receiver: o Blinking to indicate pairing mode o Steady light to indicate the connection is complete between Bluetooth-enabled device and the receiver Unique 4-digit alpha-numeric ID is used for identifying each individual receiver when multiple units are used in one house Reception Range: up to 30 feet depending on housing structure and environmental conditions For indoor use only. Keep away from extreme temperatures, humidity, and moisture. 4

INSTALLATION AND WIRING DIAGRAMS: INSTALLATIONS: Step 1: Audio Connection Connect line level audio devices such as MP3, CD, DVD, notebook etc., to the unit using the RCA L/R, stereo 3.5mm or MIC input. This device is also equipped with a Bluetooth receiver that will allow you to connect a wireless audio source from Bluetooth-enabled devices. Notes: The wireless audio input is in parallel with dual-rca input; if both signals are present at the same time then two sources will be mixed together. Step 2: Speaker Connection 4 connectors for 14~22 AWG cable (R+, R-, L+, L-). Step 3: Power Connection Connect the provided power supply to the 24V input on the unit, and then plug in the power supply to an available outlet. Note: Minimum power requirement of 24V at current rating 2.5A use of an alternative power supply that does not meet the minimum recommendations may cause power supply failure or shutdown due to overheating or power overload. Step 4: IR receiver connection Plug in the IR Receiver to the IR input jack this will give you remote control of source selection, volume control up and down, treble and bass up and down, and more, all using the Remote Control. OPERATIONS: Press Mute button (LED will disappear) to put the receiver into WORKING MODE It is suggested to play your audio source with the volume set a half and then increase the volume to a desirable level. Procedures of pairing your Bluetooth device: Switch source to input 1 Place your Bluetooth device within 1m of this unit Perform pairing procedure from your Bluetooth device to detect the unit - the ID name of Audio adapter XXXX will appear on the list of your Bluetooth device. If not, switch to a different source and then go back to the Bluetooth source input, this will reset the Bluetooth function, and then repeat the pairing operation. Select Audio adapter XXXX on the display of the Bluetooth device Input passkey/pin code 0000 (required for first time connection from a Bluetooth device) Start the Bluetooth connection from the Bluetooth device Note: The wireless receiver is capable of storing up to 8 pairings. Additionally, it is able to automatically reconnect to the last paired device 6
Notes on Bluetooth operations 1) Working mode/sleep mode: There are 3 minutes of working time for the Bluetooth pairing connection from the time when the wireless receiver is powered on and enters into a working mode. If there is no pairing connection made within 3 minutes, the wireless receiver will enter into a sleep mode and the pair option will no longer be available until the Bluetooth receiver has been reset via a power off and power on (unplug and then plug in again). The Bluetooth receiver will wake up manually by any one of the previously 8 paired devices for a connection even if the wireless receiver is in sleep mode. 2) Automatic connection: The wireless receiver will be in search mode within a few seconds of being powered on to sense and connect automatically to the previously last paired device. 3) Memory function: The Bluetooth receiver is capable of storing up to 8 pairings; any new pairings over 8 will delete the previous pairing in order from first paired to last paired. 4) The Bluetooth connection between the wireless receiver and the Bluetooth device might be disconnected when it is out of the 10 meter (~30 feet) reception range. The wireless receiver is able to automatically connect to the Bluetooth device once they are within the reception range (within in 30seconds). 7
IR control through RS232 interface with reference picture pasted below from the computer: RS232 Pins Configuration over the connector: 2=TX, 3=RX, 5=GND Assembling & set up control software: Step 1: Wire the connector cable according to above configuration. Make sure the wiring of TX/RX is not reserved which TX should be connected to PIN-2 and RX to PIN-3 for avoiding the control not working. Step 2: Plug in connector to PC end. Step 3: Set baud rate to 9600 in your PC and install control software from the provided CD until your PC appears on the display of the Control Panel as shown above right. Step 4: Press Connect to give the unit access with RS232 control and then press the Refresh button to update the control of volume, bass, treble and source. Notes: a) With RS232 control, there will be a maximum of 9 units to be linked through one PC by manual setting from COM1 to COM9 as the assigned ports. b) With RS232 connection made via cable, please ensure that 2=TX, 3=RX. 8
