TO ALL SUPPLIERS SEEKING REGISTRATION AS AN APPROVED SUPPLIER ON THE DATABASE OF FoodBev SETA Food and Beverages Manufacturing Sector Education and Training Authority ((hereinafter referred to as FoodBev SETA) was established in terms of the Skills Development Act No 97 of 1998. FoodBev SETA s function is to promote, facilitate and incentivize skills development in the food and beverages manufacturing sector. FoodBev SETA is one of the 23 sector education and training authorities (SETA s) across the economy mandated to put the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS) into practice. In compliance with the Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations, FoodBev SETA has established a supplier database. FoodBev SETA is in the process of updating its database and hereby invites all current and potential future suppliers to register as an approved supplier of its database. The purpose of this database is to give all prospective suppliers an equal opportunity to submit quotations to FoodBev SETA. Attached please find an official registration form to assist us in updating our database according to legislation.
