VZ6100 Digital Infrared Conference System Wireless conference systems are easy to install, do not interfere with room decorations or furniture and delegate microphones can be positioned at any location. High frequency wireless distribution can however be received within far distance by unauthorized listeners and do therefore not guarantee confidentiality. The advantage of infrared signals can only be received within visual distance and even thin plaster board walls, curtains and frosted glass walls prevent any further distribution of the transmission. Modern architecture often uses transparent glass walls within buildings to separate meeting rooms acoustically. This is however no barrier for traditional infrared transmission systems and adjacent meeting can receive signals from each other. All analog signals are at first converted into digital and are then combined with special algorithm to add another level of security to normal infrared transmission. This transmission method allows only those receivers to decode the incoming data stream which are fitted with the corresponding decoding algorithm. For all other receiver stations within the reception area of the infrared transmitter, the data stream cannot be decoded. For that reason several VZ6100 systems can be installed within the same area an within viewing distance hence guaranteeing full separation of the datastream resulting in highest confidentiality and privacy.
