ALL APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS: 1. Passport valid for at least 6 (six) months, with a minimum of 3 (three) blank pages; 2. Visa Request Form Completed and SIGNED; 3. Two passport size photographs; 4. A copy of the return tickets or a copy of the flight confirmation to Mozambique or to a neighbouring country; 5. Hotel/Hostel booking confirmation or 1 (one) recent bank statement; PLEASE NOTE: The Issuance of a Visa can take less or longer than usual; Travel/Emergency Documents can take between 5 (five) to 10 (ten) days to be processed; Applicants may be asked for an interview; Additional documents may be required. Visitors other than tourists are required to produce a: 6. Letter of invitation from the official or business institution in Mozambique or from the United Kingdom - If travelling for private/official business or volunteer activities. OR 7. Term of Responsibility (Must be signed by the host and authenticated by an official Notary) - If visiting family members or friends. Requirements for a Work Permit: 1. Normal Service Three working days Single Entry 40.00 (Forty Pounds Sterling) Multiple Entry 70.00 (Seventy Pounds Sterling) 2. Express Service 24 Hours Single Entry 50.00 (Fifty Pounds Sterling) Multiple Entry 100.00 (One Hundred Pounds Sterling) 3. Same Day Express Service 90 minutes Single Entry 60.00 (Sixty Pounds Sterling) Multiple Entry 110.00 (One Hundred and Ten pounds Sterling) (Please note: We cannot offer Express or same Day Service to applicants with Travel/Emergency Documents). PAYMENT: We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, cheques and postal orders (payable to Mozambique High Commission). DEFINITIONS Single Entry Visa allows one entry and the length of stay can range from a MINIMUM OF 1 DAY TO 1 MONTH (renewable to a maximum of 90 days, provided that the Visa is still valid at the moment of application). 2 London, August 2010
Multiple Entry Visa allows more than one entry during the validity of the Visa. The length allowed for visitors stay during each entry will be spelt out in the Visa. Please Note: Tourism Multiple Entry Visas can have a validity of a MINIMUM OF 1 DAY AND A MAXIMUM OF 90 DAYS whilst the Business and Service Multiple Entry Visas can have a validity of a MINIMUM OF 1 DAY AND A MAXIMUM OF 180 DAYS. POSTAL APPLICATIONS The Consular Section of the Mozambique High Commission is able to post out Passports with processed Visas. Please Note: Applicants who wish to apply for their Visa by post are required to send all the Visa Requirements using registered postal services AND to supply a self addressed stamped and registered envelope for the return of their passports (VERY IMPORTANT: The Consular Section is NOT LIABLE for loss or delay of the applications, documents or cash while en route to and from the High Commission.
