THE STORY BEHIND... BECKIE S HER HEAVEN LAYOUT Can we have a dog? This is a phrase that has been said quite frequently in this household over the past couple of years! My youngest would love a dog and I have no doubt that she d take care of all its needs if we did get one! This was recently shown when we looked after a friend s dog, a gorgeous cocker spaniel. The walks up in the woods became our daily ritual and you could see that she had entered Her Heaven. Papermania s Nature s Gallery provides a beautiful backdrop for this layout and the ferns and foliage blend into the photo giving it a feeling that the photo just carries on into the page. I even cut some of the ferns from the paper for extra texture. I layered the embellishments to create a little piece of the woods and by adding in Bare Basic products, the natural world was included. My favourite part of this layout is the little envelope to hide treasures and to hide journaling about the walk so that the eyes are not distracted from the photo. TIP When embossing tissue paper, add cardstock in the folder to make a deep impression.
