firm profile control About Us Quality assurance design drawings SDI provides fully dimensioned design drawings, which include underground plans, fabrications, and engineered drawings for refrigeration, UDS, and HVAC systems. This noticeably improves coordination among the design team. Our cross-referenced drawings and detailed specifications represent years of experience and are the foundation of a tightly controlled project. We generate first-rate documentation that covers all the issues, leaving little opening for change orders. costs SDI has developed a successful approach to tracking and maintaining project costs. We rely on two factors in controlling project budgets: first, our knowledge of current industry standards, including costs for production and infrastructure support equipment, and local construction costs for each work category; second, a computerized database of previous project budgets and the actual project completion costs. We use factory pricing and adjust the costs to a particular location and market. All pricing is then verified and updated with local manufacturers and bid houses. Once the budget has been established, we request the owner s sign-off and approval to proceed.
