Local Authority Absence Barnet's overall absence in 2014/15 was 4.2% (Chart 1), placing Barnet 98th out of 152 Local Authorities in the country. This represented an improvement from 2013-14 when Barnet was ranked 120th (Table 1). Barnet's overall absence rates are above national, inner and outer London, caused by higher authorised absence. Barnet's unauthorised absence is equal to national and below inner and outer London (Chart 2).
