NonStop Servers The minimum PC hardware configuration for the NSC is currently 256 megabytes of memory and a 500 megahertz processor. Additional memory may be required for larger system configurations managed by the NSC, and at least 512 megabytes is recommended. New system orders currently ship with an Evo D530 with 1024 megabytes of memory. Currently, the NSC contains a single NIC used for local networking to the NSK servers being managed. In order to use ISEE, a second NIC or a USB adapter will be required in order to provide internet access. New NSCs shipped after release of G06.24 will include 2 NICs. The ISEE Windows Client currently requires at least 64 megabytes of memory and 20 megabytes of disk space. In future releases, if additional capabilities require additional resources that might affect the PC hardware specification.
