We must all eat right and exercise. So what s good to eat? BURGERS! NO! VEGETABLES! Enter Vegetables (in costume) and Market Trader. They sing downstage, with the rest of the cast. Vegetables Well we ve got carrots, onions, spuds and turnips. Get yer luverly cabbage! Get them down inside your tum, As much as you can manage! Celery, spinach, beans and peas, You should eat them too! That s a cure for knobbly knees! Do you think that s true! Not really, not really. But you know what I mean. Veg tables will keep you fit and keep your insides clean! Well you can cook them any way you want to. Boil or grill or roast them. Put them in a lovely salad, You can even toast them. Nothing quite like a nice big leek, Put them in your stew! That s a cure for knobbly knees! Do you think that s true! Not really, not really. But you know what I mean. Veg tables will keep you fit and keep your insides clean! What about fruit? FRUIT?! We love fruit. Fruit Is Lovely Apples strawberries and grapes. Fruit can come in lots of shapes. Oranges and mandarins. Lots of love-ly vitamins. 4
