Flamenco Quartet In flamenco, as in jazz, improvisation is of the utmost performance. Musicians have to talk a flamenco language that enables them to communicate with each other in order for the magic known as Duende to appear. And this is Cañizares Flamenco Quartet. The concert s repertoire is based on his Cuerdas del Alma flamenco album, especially arranged for Quartet. As Cañizares mentions in the album s libretto, symbolically speaking, we have strings in our soul like those of a musical instrument. We also have experiences and desires that play those strings to produce sadness, hoy, illusion or love Amacio Guillén
