3 What is different about Scoop Digital Hosted Websites? Your Scoop Hosted Website is built on the world-class Umbraco platform. Scoop has invested heavily in modifying this open-source software to create a secure platform that meets all of the needs of the nontechnical user. It is hosted on Scoop s existing infrastructure, thereby removing the need for you to worry about security and performance, and providing design and functionality that is typically only available through years of web-design experience and training. Scoop Digital has also made it possible to seamlessly integrate Scoop s Online Guides and other Third Party Services commonly required on Western Australian and national websites, including e-commerce, newsletters and booking systems. New Third Party Services can be added onto your website as required, significantly increasing the functionality and design of your site. Scoop Digital is constantly reviewing new designs and functions that can be integrated into your site at no additional cost to you. These integrations are commonly required by Australian businesses, such as Shopify, Levart, Dimmi and Bookeasy. An OPT OUT system offers additional functionality for membership-based organisations. \\dc01fp\redirected$\harriette.smith\desktop\scoop Hosted Websites User Manual - Introduction Rev1.docx Page 5 of 12
