2013 KWI Cloud 9 Mobile POS 3.1 -Completed Spring 2013 This release included generic reporting, Customer attributes and segments, pricing service enhancements (Coupons and mix & match functionality) consignment and compatibility with 5 th generation ipod touches. KWI Cloud 9 Mobile POS 4.0 -Completed Fall 2013 This major release introduced cash to the mobile platform as well as all other tenders. Additional features included a suite of Omni-Channel functions, non merchandise and tax overrides/exempt transactions. Home Page Redesign -Completed Spring 2013 A complete redesign of the merchandising systems home page was completed. Some of the new features included the ability to view user saved sessions, the reorganization of the menu categories, and the ability to see the most popular reports. Self-Service Tax Module -Completed Spring 2013 This new module gives the client the ability to self-manage tax rates at individual store and/or merchandising hierarchy levels. This module also enables the users to set up temporary tax-free events or make permanent tax changes. This module eliminated the need for the clients to submit projects to make changes to tax tables. 2013 Security Setup Redesign -Completed Spring 2013 A complete redesign of the security setup module was completed. Additional features included the ability to sort, copy and paste columns in addition to being able to search the help screens. Pre Sale Application -Completed Spring 2013 This enhancement enables stores to run a trunk show or a pre-event where sales are captured via the POS system, but are not posted until the customer picks up the merchandise during the event. POS Promo Audit Report -Completed Spring 2013 This tool is used to check for promos, coupon promos, mix & match between the merchandising and the POS systems and determine if there are any mismatches. If it detects an issue, it will automatically open a Footprints ticket. Open Stock replenishment - Completed Spring 2013 The new case pack function is a flag-based option that allows clients to utilize the robust calculation mechanism of Open Stock Replenishment (sales forecasting based upon sales curves and specific client parameters) to order by best-fit case pack. 2013 POS Software Monitoring Pilot -Completed Fall 2013 During the pilot, KWI tested a software monitoring tool that enables us to continually maintain the latest software across a POS environment. In addition, the tool streamlines the delivery of software updates. POS Foundation enhancements Completed Fall 2013 Various improvements to our software infrastructure resulted in a streamlined configuration process, increased POS stability, and the enhanced ability to troubleshoot issues. In addition, the release will include the ability to integrate with UPS and FedEx to allow the user to print shipping labels and tracking information for Omni-Channel purchases. KWI Cloud 9 Mobile POS 4.2 Release A release that will include additional POS functionality including Price Overrides during a return transaction. KWI Cloud 9 Mobile POS 5.0 Release The next major release of KWI s Cloud 9 Mobile solution will introduce a Clienteling solution integrated directly within the application. A complete redesign of the User Interface for ipad and ipad Mini devices is planned as well. In addition, to the enhancements to the POS Functions. KWI Cloud 9 Mobile POS Administrator Tool Completed Spring 2014 Develop a user interface that enables a client to manage the configuration of their mpos devices. Obtain Report on Compliance/PCI Certification The ROC (Report on Compliance) verifies that the audited merchant is compliant with the PCI DSS standard. PCI DSS policies and procedures were developed as a collaborative effort of Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express to enhance the security of card-based transactions and protect cardholders against fraud and other misuses of their personal information. Utilization of Virtual Network Computing Develop and Deploy a VNC solution for our Support desk to use when connecting to Clients POS terminals as part of our PCI enhancements. 2014 Relocation of our Hot Co-Location Data Center Completion of our co-location data center move off of the Northeast power grid to a Mountain West location. We selected a Mountain West location as it is one of the few continental U.S areas not subjected to earthquakes, tornadoes or hurricanes. Virtualization of our Data Centers Implement continuous processing and flexibility to balance data loads between our two data centers. Dedicated UAT Environments We will be offering a dedicated User Acceptance Testing Environment that enables each Client to conduct system training in addition to being able to validate new processes on familiar Sales and Customer data. Introduction of New Payment Devices for Mobile POS and POS Offer new payment device option that will allow us to incorporate Credit, Debit, Gift Cards transactions in with Scrolling receipts and offer end-to-end hardware encryption. In addition, the device will also be able to compatible with future EMV specifications. 2014 Review and Optimization of Merchandising reports Monitoring and optimizing some of the Merchandising system reports will allow us to improve the delivery speed of these reports to our Clients during peak work periods due to continually adjusting and monitoring our server load balance. Report Runner 2.1 This significant modification to the merchandising system will allow users to re-run existing reports or modify existing parameters. In addition, the function will allow the user to create and maintain a delivery schedule of the reports. Generic Entry Screen Significant enhancements to the Generic Entry Screen will the expand the depth of Clients functionality. POS Software Monitoring Roll out the software monitoring tool that was piloted in 2013 to continually maintain the latest software across a POS environment, in addition to streamlining the software updating process.
