The center works with persons who have medical, psychological, cognitive or social problems impeding function or threatening independent living. The goal of the assessment is to identify and treat corrective problems and to locate and coordinate community resources to optimize the patient s and family s living situation. All the physicians are board certified and fellowship trained in pain management. Pain is managed in a variety of ways using the most conservative approaches first.
