Java, PHP & Ruby - Cloud Hosting NO LOCK-IN No technical lock-in and no binding contract. We believe in open standards without any technical lock-ins. We think that Open source provides flexibility and simplicity if you would like to move your application somewhere else. We have built a platform that makes it easy to get up and running, just deploy your application and import your database. When you sign up for Elastx you don't have any notice period, furthermore we only charge you for the actual resources that you consume. It's like buying electricity, but without any fixed fees. We think that's fair. GREAT PERFORMANCE Our aim is to be a great performance choice. Our infrastructure has been built from the ground up to be able to host many customers without compromising on performance. Our storage system is built with 100% Solid State Disk (SSD) and with a technology to guarantee QoS (Quality of Service). We have a powerful network architecture and all our physical servers are connected using 20Gbps and using at least 4 ISP:s (Internet Service Providers). All this to provide you with great performance. HOSTED IN SWEDEN Swedish support and data kept in Sweden We believe that Swedish support and local hosting in Swedish tier 3 datacenters caters for customer satisfaction. We guarantee that you data is kept and stored in Sweden. This is something that many of our customers appreciate, due to the ever changing and often complex international legislation. REAL ELASTIC PAAS A true elastic Platform as a Service (PaaS) Are you still struggling with installing and managing your servers? We offer next generation server hosting with Platform as a Service (PaaS). You only have to select which type of IT-environment that you would like and capacity limits, once you click create it only takes a minute before your IT-environment is ready. Now you can deploy any Java, PHP or Ruby application by simply uploading it or use your favourite IDE tool. We measure your consumption per hour and our platform automatically scales up or down depending upon load. We provide a user friendly control panel so you can monitor your application.

Our PaaS offering Easy, puts you in the driver seat! Easy to get started We offer a Free Tier with instant access! With our Free Tier offering you get a total of 16 cloudlets, equals 2GB Ram / 3,2 GHz with 4 cloudlets per node. Your environment will go down to sleep mode if they have been inactive for more than 2 hours, making our Free Tier ideal for development and test environments. Sign up at Elastx.com for instant access, no credit card required. Create your cloud environment in seconds Simply choose your software stack, set the limits for autoscaling, and pick your name. In just a few seconds your Java, PHP or Ruby environment will be up and running in the cloud. No installation or configuration Our Easy PaaS automatically installs configures and interconnects your server instances with your selected software stacks. You only have to upload your Java, PHP or Ruby application and go. Wide range of software stacks Mix and match your software stacks. Select from the best free Java (Tomcat, Glassfish, JBoss and Jetty), PHP (Apache, NGINX) and Ruby (Apache, Nginx) app servers, as well as SQL (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, CouchDB, Redis, Cassandra) database servers. See Technical checklist for more information.

Easy to Deploy Four easy ways to deploy your code 1. Use our built-in Deployment Manager to simply upload your Java.war /.ear file, or your PHP.zip or for Ruby your.zip / tar.gz file and choose which environment you would like to deploy to. 2. You can deploy public or private project to our cloud via GIT/SVN. If there are changes to your code you can update with one click from GIT/SVN. It is also possible to configure auto-deploys. For your Java applicaion we also offer a built in Maven node. 3. For your Java applications it is also possible to use your favourite IDE tool via a plug-in. Today we offer plug-ins for Ant, Eclipse,IntelliJ, Maven and Netbeans. 4. It is also possible to use a CI tool to automate your deployments, such as Jenkins. Application version control Has an error accidentally crept into your latest code? No worries! Just roll back to the last error-free hosted version. Our Easy PaaS service keeps track of your deployment history - just select the one you want and we will roll everything back. Easy to scale with optimum performance Vertical auto scaling Our Easy PaaS built with Jelastic is the only cloud platform which can automatically scale any Java, PHP or Ruby application by changning the amount of resources (RAM and CPU) provided to a webserver. As soon as an application load grows, the cloud platform simply makes additional resources available to it. When the load goes down again, the resources are reduced by the platform automatically. Horizontal scaling Our cloud service lets you scale your Java, PHP or Ruby environment horizontally, changing the number of application servers. The load is distributed evenly between the chosen number of compute nodes, with the help of a balancer which is switched on automatically if you choose to have more than one instance. You can have up to 32 compute nodes with a total of 1024GB RAM and 1600GHz of processor power! Easy to Manage Managing an application's lifecycle (ALM). During its life, an application exists in multiple environments. Java, PHP and Ruby developers have development environments, quality control for testing, and customers can access these environments in production. Our Easy PaaS simplifies this by allowing you to easily clone and branch environments so they all have identical software stacks and topology. For each environment, you can individually tweak resource usage. It is also possible to setup a tailored ALM environment including monitoring tools. Please contact us for more information. Control and analyze We provide a rich built in tool set to analyze and monitor your Java, PHP or Ruby application web hosting service. You get upto-date real-time information on your application's load, memory, CPU, and traffic consumption. In addition to this, historical data is always available for your analysis.

Saves you time and money Automated platform Maintenance, configuration and operational tasks are automated for you. There are no constraints or unique hosting requirements imposed on your applications, so there is no development overhead. With our Easy PaaS, ease of use and automation gives you the most powerful and best Java, PHP and Ruby cloud hosting service, for the lowest price. Old school Jelastic Buying Servers + + + + Deploy OS App Server DB code One click action You only pay for actual consumption Our versatile billing system allows to choose if you prefer usage based pricing, fixed pricing, or hybrid - a combination of both options. Jelastic is the only true consumption-based PaaS. Our application vertical scaling lets you pay only for the resources you need. Just specify the lower and higher scaling limits for all of the servers you use within the platform and the rest will be done automatically. The higher you set the minimum resource-use level, the bigger discount you get. The Jelastic dashboard displays both the minimum and the maximum expected monthly bill that makes the pricing fair and predictable. Your data is safe Premium Tier 3 datacenter Elastx infrastructure is based in Sweden and hosted in premium Tier 3 data centers. The security of your business-critical data and systems is our primary concern. To this end there is a permanent manned security presence at our data centers and there is also multilayered physical security including a secure perimeter, on site ID control and video surveillance. The infrastructure is protected by stateful inspection firewalls and IDS (Intrusion Detection System). Two factor authentication is used to access the central management systems. We perform background security checks on all Elastx systems engineers. Your data is backed up daily We backup your data on a daily basis. We recommend to set your own database backups and schedule them during offpeak hours when data is unlikely to be accessed, preventing or reducing the impact of any backup window downtime. We are happy to assist you in setting up your database backups. High availability The data centers are fully redundant in all aspects. Communication fibers enters the building from two isolated locations. Power feed, UPS and Diesel generators are also fully redundant and can handle long term power outages with ability to refuel. Redundant cooling systems with free cooling to limit the power consumption. Fire protection with Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA). Hardware infrastructure is fully redundant to provide a highly available service. All hardware is connected with both redundant power and network. All hardware is datacenter classed to give the most reliable and stable systems. Network infrastructure is fully redundant and Internet is provided from 4 independent Internet Service Providers. Storage is fully redundant and data is always stored on two different storage enclosures.
