As a member of the AARP MedicareRx Enhanced plan, insured through UnitedHealthcare, you may save an average of 30%* on most prescription drugs that are not normally covered by Medicare Part D. Discounts are available on thousands of commonly used brand-name and generic prescription drugs. For example, you can get discounts on medications used for weight loss, erectile dysfunction (ED), hair growth, insomnia and anxiety, as well as prescription vitamins and prescription cough and cold medications. Discounts are not offered for over-the-counter medications. Using the Plus Drug Discounts program is easy. To receive your discount at the pharmacy counter, simply show your existing AARP MedicareRx Enhanced plan member ID card at a participating network pharmacy when you purchase a prescription. You will be charged the discounted rate for your prescription. Almost all of the 60,000 network pharmacies participate in the program. In most cases, you will be able to receive your discount at the network pharmacy you are currently using.
