Mike Thaman, Owens Corning, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Frank O Brien-Bernini, Owens Corning, Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer Frank O Brien-Bernini is vice president and chief sustainability officer of Owens Corning, a world leader in building materials and composite solutions. His role encompasses global accountability for Owens Corning s sustainability strategy development and implementation, including Operations Sustainability/ Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S), Product and Supply Chain Sustainability, Building Science, Corporate Medical/Healthy Living, Product Stewardship/Toxicology and the Granville, Ohio Science & Technology Center. In over 30 years with Owens Corning, he has held various leadership positions, including most recently, vice president, chief R&D officer. Prior to joining Owens Corning, Mr. O Brien-Bernini ran a solar design/build firm. Mr. O Brien-Bernini is a frequent speaker on topics related to sustainability and has addressed multiple conferences, has been quoted in many industry reports/publications and currently serves on several Boards. An alumnus of one of the nation s first interdisciplinary sustainability programs, The Center for Resourceful Living at North Adams State College (now MCLA), he went on to earn both a bachelor s degree in science and a master s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts, where his research focus was solar energy. Douglas (Doug) C. Pontsler, Owens Corning, Vice President of Operations Sustainability & EHS Doug Pontsler is Vice President of Operations Sustainability & EHS for Owens Corning. He was named to his current position in August 2009. In this leadership role, he has responsibility for directing safety and environmental matters within Owens Corning globally. His role was expanded in October 2011 to include responsibility for foundational compliance and sustainability operations performance. Mr. Pontsler joined Owens Corning in 2002 as Director of Corporate Services, was named Director of Global Sourcing in 2004 and Vice President of Global Sourcing in 2008. Prior to joining Owens Corning, Mr. Pontsler spent 23 years with Eaton Corporation. While at Eaton, he held various roles of increasing responsibilities in accounting, finance, production and inventory control management, factory management and sourcing. Mr. Pontsler serves as a member of the National Safety Council Board of Directors and is chairman of the National Safety Council Campbell Institute. He is also involved in the community as chairman of the Regional Growth Partnership board promoting economic development, a member of the Board and Executive Committee of the Marathon Classic LPGA Tournament, and a prior Cabinet Member of the United Way Campaign Committee for Northwest Ohio.

Donald A. Scarsella, PMP, CEM, Owens Corning, Energy Program Manager Don Scarsella is the Energy Program Manager for Owens Corning s Composites Solutions Business. He holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Certification from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Don was selected as AEE s 2010 Energy Manager of the Year. AEE is a professional organization with over 17,500 worldwide members dedicated to advancing the field of Energy Engineering and Management. This award is given to one member annually. Don has been with Owens Corning for 25 years. In the early part of his career he managed many successful electrical and controls engineering related projects. Don has been the Energy Program Manager for Composite Solutions Business since 2006. Michael W. Morris, BSCE, MBA, CEA, BEP, Schneider Electric, Engineering Solutions Development Leader Michael W. Morris earned his B.S. in Engineering from The Ohio State University and his MBA in Finance and Marketing from Xavier University. Mr. Morris has completed post-graduate work, in business, at Harvard University, the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. Mr. Morris has held technical and executive positions with global corporations including Cabot Corporation, AT&T, NCR, Ferro Corporation, Tosoh Corporation and The EMCO Group where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer. He presently holds the position of Engineering Solutions Development Leader for Schneider Electric, a $32 billion multinational energy technology company, where he is actively engaged in demand side energy efficiency projects for both public and private sector clients. Mr. Morris has subject matter expertise in the areas of Building Controls, Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems, Lighting, Building Envelope, Water/Wastewater Treatment and Renewable Energy. Mr. Morris has served as a member of the board of directors of three corporations, and is the recipient of the U.S. Congressional Certificate of Merit for Small Business Development. Mr. Morris is also member of the U.S. Congressional Business Advisory Council and a member of the forecast panel of the National Association of Business Economists.

W. F. Brockway, Alcoa, Inc., Manager Global Energy Efficiency Walt Brockway is the Manager of Global Energy Efficiency for Alcoa, Inc. located in Knoxville TN where he is responsible for coordinating efforts within all Alcoa businesses and regions to improve energy intensity. He has held various energy and power roles at Alcoa for the past 31 years including: Power engineer, Power Supervisor, Power and Engineering Manager at the Alcoa Massena Operations. Corporate Energy Manager responsible for facility electricity supply arrangements. In this role he started the Alcoa energy efficiency network which is today one the premier industrial programs. Manager of hydroelectric operations for Alcoa where he managed operating assets, modernization of the assets and relicensing of two FERC hydroelectric projects. Manager of Energy Regulatory Affairs responsible for oversight of energy affairs at the federal, regional and state levels for one of the largest electricity consumers in the world. Prior to joining Alcoa he was employed by General Electric s Nuclear Energy Business Operations and Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. Walt attended Clarkson University where he received both a Bachelors and Masters degree in electrical engineering. He holds a Professional Engineering registration in New York and is a Certified Energy Manager. Fred C. Schoeneborn, CEM, CEA, FCS Consulting Services, Inc., President Fred C. Schoeneborn, CEM, CEA is president of FCS Consulting Services, Inc. During his 38 year career with Mobil Oil Corporation he created and managed a Global energy management program. Since 2000 Fred has worked as an independent consultant assisting Fortune 100 companies establish their energy programs. Fred supports the EPA ENERGY STAR program by assisting ENERGY STAR partners in improving their energy efficiency. In addition, he conducts energy assessment workshops for the DOE Oak Ridge National Lab and in 2010 conducted a monthly series of Implementation web-conferences for the DOE Save Energy Now program. In 2005 the ACEEE (American Council for Energy-Efficient Economy) recognized Fred as a Champion of Energy Efficiency.

Amy Via, Owens Corning, Global Energy Sourcing Leader Amy Via is currently Global Energy Sourcing Leader for Owens Corning responsible for managing global sourcing activities for electricity and natural gas covering approximately $400 million of annual spend. Amy also supports project exploration and sourcing for Renewable and Alternative Energy projects including onsite renewable generation systems and, most recently, two large scale offsite wind farms. Amy also leads Finance, Accounting and Sourcing recruiting for Owens Corning at The Ohio State University. Amy joined the Energy Sourcing team in 2010 as Energy Sourcing Leader, Electricity and served in that function until late 2014 when she transitioned to her current position. In that role she was responsible for delivering the sourcing strategy and reporting for electricity at Owens Corning. Prior to joining the Global Sourcing organization, Amy was a member of the Finance and Accounting Leadership program at Owens Corning. Rick Kilbourne, Constellation, Senior Manager, Solar Business Development Rick currently focuses on the areas of solar and renewable energy for Commercial, Industrial, and Municipal clients in the mid-atlantic region. Prior to joining Constellation, Rick worked to help national clients utilize cutting-edge information technology to meet their business objectives and improve their bottom line. He received a B.A. in Psychology from St. Mary s College of Maryland. While there, Rick participated and became certified in Peer Health Education and Training. Rick has used this foundation to continually excel in business to business consulting, market development, and project development. Ted Romaine, Invenergy, Director of Sales and Marketing Ted Romaine is responsible for leading Invenergy s Sales and Marketing engagement with Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers focusing on wind, solar, and energy storage projects. With more than fifteen years of industry experience, he joined Invenergy in 2015 from Johnson Controls where he held a variety of roles including business development manager for stationary energy storage, sales manager for solar energy solutions, strategic marketing manager, and project engineer. Prior to that, Ted served in the U.S. Air Force as a Civil Engineer Officer. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder; an MBA from the University of Notre Dame; and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

Mike O Sullivan, NextEra Energy Resources, Senior Vice President, Development Michael (Mike) O Sullivan is senior vice president of development at NextEra Energy Resources, the nation s leader in producing electricity from clean and renewable fuels and also the world leader in producing electricity from the wind and sun. Mike received his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago. NextEra Energy Resources, LLC (together with its affiliated entities, "NextEra Energy Resources"), is a clean energy leader and is one of the largest wholesale generators of electric power in the U.S., with approximately 20,000 MW of generating capacity outside of FL in 25 states and 4 provinces of Canada. John Hoekstra, Schneider Electric, Director of Sustainability Services John Hoekstra is Director of Sustainability Services at Schneider Electric, a global energy & sustainability advisory firm and solutions company. John leads sustainability efforts for Schneider who has helped Owens Corning in a variety of energy endeavors including the solicitation, review, analysis and contracting of renewable energy opportunities. He and his team work with a variety Fortune 500 companies, including those in the building materials, retail, chemical, automotive, packaging, and food & beverage industries on developing sustainability strategies, coordinating global sustainability reporting and various implementation activities such as clean technology integration. Prior to Schneider, John has experience working in environmental affairs groups with Dell Computer Corporation, Brown-Forman Corporation and DuPont in a variety of areas including greening of the supply chain. John has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville and is a registered professional engineer.
