Instructions to Students on how to access the Online Unit Evaluation (OUE) Form. There are 2 options available in order to access the OUE form. 1. Via the DWU Student Intranet. Type in the URL https://intranet.dwu.ac.pg on your web browser (Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome) Enter your username and password

The following page should appear. Click on the e-learning tab e-learning Tab

2. Via the DWU Webpage Type in the URL www.dwu.ac.pg on your Web browser (Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome) Click on Web links tab arrow. Web Links Tab

A drop down menu should appear as shown below. Click on the e-learning link NOT the unit evaluation form e-learning

Accessing the form via Moodle (DWU e-learning platform) Once on the e-learning @ Divine Word University learning site The following page should appear after clicking on the e-learning link. If the login page does not appear click on the link on the top right hand corner after the You are not logged in (Login) Click on the (Login) link

Moodle Login page Once you have clicked the login link, the following page should appear. Enter your username and password and click the login button.

The Moodle Home page The following Moodle Home page should appear as shown below. Under the Navigation window, Click on the Courses link Navigation Courses link

The Courses page Scroll down to the end of the page. At the end of the list is the Unit Evaluation link. Click on this link to access the next page. Click on the Unit Evaluation link

The following page should appear. Click on the Semester 1: 2015 link. Click on the Semester 1:2015 llink

The following page should appear. A password will be given to you in order for you to access the form. Enter the password in the password slot and click on the Submit button.

The Unit Evaluation Form The following page with the UNIT EVALUATION FORM should appear with Steps 1 to 8 Steps 1 to 8 If you scroll down the page the Step 9 questions (1-10) Step 9

Evaluating a unit In order to start the evaluation scroll back up to the top of the page At top of the form you will find Step 1: Select the unit title* (required). You are required to select the unit you are taking this Semester. The Units are listing under each Faculty Department Program E.g. Faculty of Arts and Social Science Communication Arts Bachelor of Communication Arts (Journalism) The following units for Semester 1, starting from Year 1 to 4 units are listed for Faculty of Arts and Social Science Communication Arts Bachelor of Communication Arts (Journalism) You will notice this on the drop down menu as shown below The Faculty Department Program are arranged in alphabetical order, therefore Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences units are listed first, followed by the Faculty of Business and Informatics and then the Faculty of Health Sciences. IMPORTANT NOTE: Steps 1-8 and 11 are required or mandatory fields that need to be filled in.

Using the example for Communication Arts If you are a first year student who would like to evaluate CA121 Communications Reporting Step 1 must be done. Select CA121 Communications Reporting under the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Communication Arts Bachelor of Communication Arts (Journalism) from the drop down menu. After you have made your selection, Step 2 to Step 8 will be automated for you, i.e. all the necessary information concerning the Unit Lecturer or Tutor s name, Faculty, Program, Department, Mode of Study, Semester and Campus will be automatically filled in. The form should look like the page below. IMPORTANT NOTE: If there is a unit that is offered by another Department and Faculty, the Faculty, Department and Program information should be for the Program under which you are enrolled. For example, if you are a first year Communication Arts student who is taking IS117 End User Computing offered by the Information Systems Department, Faculty of Business and Informatics; Steps 3-6 should have the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Communication Arts, Bachelor of Communication Arts (Journalism), Full time-ca1. Once you have made your selection, go to Step 9 and answer the 10 questions on the form.

There are 9 questions in which you will give a rating of either Strongly Agree or Agree or Neutral or Disagree or Strongly Disagree. For question 10, type in any additional comments you would like to make about the unit. Once you have finished answering the questions and posting your comments and are satisfied with your responses, fill in your student email address (e.g. tblue@student.dwu.ac.pg) for Step 11 which is a requirement in order to complete the evaluation. Then click on the Submit your response button to successfully submit your evaluation.

If you would like to change your responses or do the evaluation all over again, just click the Reset button. Click the Reset Button

Unsuccessful submission If all the required (mandatory) fields are not filled in then, the submission will not be successful as shown below. Click the on the Back ( ) button on your Web browser to access the form again. Back button

Evaluating another unit In order to evaluate a different unit, click the Reset button and start at Step 1 to begin the process of evaluation. Click the Reset Button

Automated response for student emails. Go to your Student web email account by clicking on the Student E-MAIL link via the Student Intranet Student email link

A page like the following should appear. Enter your full email address (e.g. tblue@student.dwu.ac.pg) and password. Then click on the Login button

A no-reply email should appear in your inbox with the following (using the example above) Unit Evaluated is CA121 Communications Reporting Thanks for your submission. Regards, Divine Word University, Madang, Papua New Guinea
