We collect information when you create an online account or profile; use the interactive areas and features of our Services; make an online or in-person purchase; request customer service; participate in contests, sweepstakes, promotions, or mailing lists; join TangerClub or other Tanger programs; and when you email, call, or otherwise communicate with us. For example, when you join TangerClub, we may collect transaction information, such as your name, address, birthdate, payment information, phone number, and email address. Information Collected Automatically: We receive and store certain types of information automatically when you interact with our Service, emails, and online advertising. This information may include your IP address, browsing behavior while on our site, browser and device characteristics, referring URLs, the operating system you are using, mac address when connecting to Tanger Wifi networks, and third party links, advertisements, and offers from our partners that you click on or other content that you may access or download from the Service. Email: When you email us, we are collecting the information you include in your email communication to us. Information from Social Media. If you access or log-in to a Tanger Service through a social media service or connect a Tanger Service to a social media service, the information we collect may also
include your user ID and/or user name associated with that social media service, any information or content you have permitted the social media service to share with us, such as your profile picture, email address or friends lists, and any information you have made public in connection with that social media service. When you access the Tanger Services through social media services or when you connect a Tanger Service to social media services, you are authorizing Tanger to collect, store, and use such information and content in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We, and our third party vendors such as Google, use firstparty cookies (such as Google Analytics), third-party cookies (such as Double-Click), and related tracking technologies to deliver and enhance the use of the Service, and inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your history with our websites. We also use first-party cookies and third-party cookies together to report how our ad impressions, other uses of ad services, and interactions with these ad impressions and ad services are related to visits on our website. Sharing Your Information The information we collect is used to improve the content and the quality of our Service, and without your consent we will not otherwise sell, license or share your personal information to/with any other party(s) for commercial purposes, except: (a) to provide the Service, (b) when we have your permission, and/or (c) or under the following instances: Affiliates: We may share the information we collect with our subsidiaries and affiliates, for operational, marketing and promotional purposes. We may also share the same information with the social media service provider. By logging in with or connecting your Tanger Services account with a social media service, you are authorizing us to share information we collect from and about you with the social media service provider, other users and your friends and you understand that the social media service's use of the shared information will be governed by the social media service's privacy policy. Tanger is committed to safeguarding information collected from users of Tanger Services and employs commercially reasonable administrative, technical, personnel and physical measures to protect information in its possession against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure or modification. However, no one can guarantee the complete safety of your information. Children and Minors The Service is not intended for use by minors under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly solicit any information from or market to such minors. In some cases, we may use a third party service provider or providers to process credit card transactions regarding the purchase of a product, such as a gift card or participation in a Tanger loyalty program ("Payment Service"). We have no control over, and are not responsible for, any Payment Service's use of information collected through any Payment Service. Data Retention We will retain your information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law. Remember that even after you cancel your account, copies of some information from your account may remain viewable in some circumstances where, for example, you have shared information with social media or other services. Because of the nature of caching technology, your account may not be instantly inaccessible to others.
