Detailed information about operation can be found in our official easyjob 5 manual at www.protonicsoftware.com/ The individual features are described using screenshots of easyjob 5. Depending on your easyjob license, the forms you have in your environment may differ from the screenshots shown in the manual. General Direct access from the Windows 7 start menu In order to use the most important easyjob features faster, you can open easyjob activities directly from the Windows start menu. Improved auto refresh Changes to address and item master data will be immediately updated in the Navigator, in easyjob Today and in the Bill of Items. New roadmap From the easyjob communication menu, Bing Maps information for the selected address. The new communication menu supports social media provides you with access to maps and route Bing Maps replaces the previous Microsoft MapPoint Tool. New filter options in the reminder screen In order to maintain an overview of your reminders, you can also filter the reminder screen according to your Own reminders. For quicker access, the status bar also displays the number of reminders, which can be opened and edited with a mouse click. New development of the easyjob Today view easyjob Today offers you new possibilities to individualize your interface design. Your can order and position your information screen as you wish. It is possible to open and close as well as rename the information screen. You can display and hide columns and move them as required. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 12

Activating the List Editor Combining the classic and list editors into one view improves the overview and makes access quicker. By checking a box, you can decide if you want to edit the items or addresses in the list. Document reference preview with zoom function The files entered in the document references can be scaled as necessary in the preview. Open Windows file properties from the document references The entered documents can be directly opened from document references with help of the Windows File Properties and then edited. Improved date and time selection with different Windows language settings The size of the date and time entry fields will be adjusted based on the different Windows regional settings. Initialize customer fields with RTF text modules You can further customize your contact with your customers with RTF text modules. Editing the shipping method in the master data The individual jobs can be assigned to shipping methods such as DHL, UPS, etc. In the master data, the shipping methods can be Edited or Added. Item management Displaying devices in inventory export Devices can also be displayed when exporting inventory lists. Items with no discount With the no discount option, an item can be excluded from discounting. Marking items with a block indicator To prevent certain items from being booked, they can be marked with a block indicator. With the block indicator, the item will no longer be shown among the material selection when scheduling. Taking items out of service using the exchange function Items taken out of service can be easily replaced with the exchange function. Single device management With single device management, you can be certain that the quantity of active devices actually reflects the current inventory. With each change of inventory, the corresponding devices must be assigned. Filter function in the device list The search text filter in the device list can be used to quickly find the respective dataset even with a large quantity of devices. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 18

Apply the Linked Associated Items Price, Capacity and Weight and Output to the Main Item With Linked Associated Items, it is now possible to determine if the Rental Price, Weight, Capacity and Output of the Associated Item should be added to the main item. Booking 'optional' Linked Associated Items The Optional property with Linked Associated Items makes it possible when booking a main item to select if and how many items from the associated items should be actually booked Removing Linked Associated Items Rental Inventory from the main item As was previously possible with the Parts List Items, Linked Associated Items can now be removed from the Rental Inventory and blocked in the Bill of Items for editing. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 19

Parts List Items replaced To make the software more understandable, we have replaced Parts List Items. With the migration to easyjob 5, the previous Parts List Items has become Linked Associated Items with active Reduced Rental Inventory and Blocked in Bill of Items property. Excluding items from the availability check Items can be excluded from the availability check. The item will then not be displayed in the overbooked list and during the On-Fly Check as overbooked. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 20

Address management Filtering addresses according to use With the new filtering option, address types are categorized according to use, so that they can be assigned to different areas. If for example an address type is assigned as the type Customer, then in easyjob, this address will only be displayed in cases where a customer can be selected. Project management Project addresses In order to immediately find the correct point of contact in the case of a large project, project management now includes an Address tab. Alphabetical sorting of terms of payment in a project The pre-defined Terms of payment have been sorted alphabetically for greater clarity. Assigning shipping methods to jobs Shipping methods such as DHL, UPS, etc. can be assigned to individual jobs. Displaying project references With project references, you can quickly access the references for your project. New 'Project total' column in the 'Edit project' overview New job selection with multiple jobs in a project If a project consists of multiple jobs, you can quickly navigate to the desired job using the job list view. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 24

Improved standard settings for 'Create job' In order to create new jobs more effectively, we have adjusted the standard settings. Fields will be pre-filled so that the job start date will be automatically set to today's date, if the project date lies in the past. The job name will be automatically set to project name + 1 and marked so that the field can be directly edited with out additional mouse clicks. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 25

Item Scheduling Completely redesigned Bill of Items The new Bill of Items user interface provides more information, is clearer and offers new possibilities for personal organization. By selecting various windows you can adapt the Bill of Items to your individual requirements. Each window can be displayed or hidden and arranged as you prefer. New feature windows in the Bill of Items A list of the multiple selection windows for the Bill of Items is provided below: Cost Planner The Cost Planner displays the cost calculations for the currently selected job. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 26

Availability view The graphical availability view for the selected item. Jobs With Job Selection, you can display multiple jobs at the same time. The item will be booked for the selected job. Groups Multiple groups can be displayed as required. Items will be booked for the selected group. Partial deliveries You can split your job into as many partial deliveries as necessary. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 27

Transport Container The scheduled items can be filtered according to transport container. Item image The assigned item image will also be displayed in this window. Custom Fields Displays the 5 Custom Fields for the selected item. Item documents With the Item Document window, you can directly access the document references for the selected item. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 28

Devices The Device List is the same as in easyjob 4.0. Device info Device Info displays if the device is currently loaded to another job, when the last testing was carried out and when the next testing is due. Total Information The Total Information is the same as in easyjob 4.0. Job loading and unloading integrated in the Bill of Items In order to improve switching between Scheduling, Loading and Unloading, we have grouped this functionality into the Bill of Items. The icons for the loading and unloading functions have been integrated in the Bill of Items toolbar. The user interface can be individually organized in every mode. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 29

Scheduling alternative items This function makes it possible to book alternative items. If it is not clear if the customer would prefer an HD projector instead of the proposed projector, it can already be booked in a job as an alternative. The HD projector will be shown as a line item in the Bill of Items, but will not be included in the total or in the availability check. Option to enter operating hours while unloading When unloading, it is possible to enter the operating hours for your devices. Check-In/Check-Out now possible also for sub-rentals With the Sub-rental status in a job, they can be checked-in and checked-out as for a Rental job Creating a Workshop Activity from the loading/unloading process When loading and unloading a device, a workshop activity can be created. Assigning fixed prices and discounts to material groups Fixed group totals or discounts can be determined for your Item Groups. Availability calculation also for Expendable Items Expendable Items will be considered during the availability calculation. A Min. Inventory can be determined for the expendable items. If the quantity of the Min. Inventory goes below the minimum, you can identify all items that are below the min. inventory with a view in the Navigator and in easyjob Today. Initialize 'Include proposals' The Include proposal box in the bill of items, availability check and overbooking calculation can be initialized in the program settings. Available check also up to date to the hour and to the minute The basis of the availability check can be up to date to the hour or to the minute. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 31

Displaying inventory entries and deletions in the availability check The availability check of items is expanded to include the inventory entry and deletion columns. This information is also displayed in the availability overview. Filtering items according to owner In order to only show items from certain owners, items can be filtered according to owner. 2012 by protonic software GmbH 32

'Track Device' also includes Linked Associated Items The query Track Devices also displays devices that have been used via a main item as linked associated items. Insert free text lines also without free sorting Free text lines can be inserted in any position in the Bill of Items, without having to activate Items sortable for this. Free text lines also with Days and Discount In the free text lines inserted in the Bill of Items, you can now also enter Days and Discount. New columns in the Bill of Items We have added multiple new possible columns in the Bill of Items. A small highlight is the field Total incl. Sub-hired changed to sub-rental The term sub-hire has now been changed uniformly to sub-rental. Correcting the inventory of missing items while unloading without creating an invoice With this new feature, when unloading Missing Items, you can correct the inventory without creating an invoice. Partial deliveries and partial returns Deviating from the job time frame, you can define additional appointments for partial deliveries and partial returns. You can schedule two devices of an item for delivery date X and the remaining three items for delivery date Y. Initialize the sub-rental assignment using the sub-rental wizard The sub-rental wizard can assign the individually sub-rented items to the current job.
