It is hard to imagine we are well into the fourth quarter with the end of this school year quickly approaching. Spring is always a busy time at Tremper. Our spring sports season is in full swing, our theatre and music departments will be giving their final performances, and our last testing cycle MAPS, ACT Aspire, and A.P is beginning. Prom and many senior activities will be happening while you are reading this newsletter. This is the last newsletter of the 2015-16 school year, but it contains a great deal of information about all of these end of year activities. Please read it and keep it handy. Online registration for the 2016-17 school year will begin on Monday, April 18. Please log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal to begin the registration process. Please note that you will still need to finalize the registration process on one of Tremper s two dates over the summer, but completing the online portion of enrollment prior to attending summer registration will SIGNIFICANTLY cut down on your wait time. Tremper 2016-17 Summer Registration Dates Wednesday, August 17, 2016 Thursday, August 18, 2016 Both registration dates will take place in the Tremper West Gym from 1:00 6:00 p.m. Please watch for additional information regarding summer registration in your mail during the month of July.

Reminders from Room 109 Locks on Lockers Please remember that when you are cleaning out your lockers at the end of the school year, your combination lock MUST remain on your locker. You will be assessed a fee of $9 charged to your student account in the event that your lock is missing. Please do not swap locks with anyone as you will also be charged if the lock that is on your locker is not the one that was assigned to you. Parking Permits Parking permits for Quarter 4 are now $15! Come to room 109 and purchase yours today! Summer School Session 1: Summer School Session 2: Begins June 20, 2016 Begins July 12, 2016 Ends July 11, 2016 Ends July 29, 2016 No School July 4 & 5 All classes meet Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Students are only allowed 2 absences per session for summer gym. Since summer school only runs for 14 school days, it is important to be on time and in class regularly. In some classes, absences will reflect a lower grade. Session 1 Calls will go out to households on Sunday, May 1 stating that your son/daughter has been enrolled in Session 1. Session 2 Calls will go out to households on Sunday, May 8 that your son/daughter has been enrolled in Session 2. A waitlist call went out to households on Sunday, April 24. We will notify you if we can get your son/daughter off the waitlist and into a class. Please make sure that your contact information is current in Infinite Campus. Please, if your plans have changed and you are unable to attend Summer School, advise the Summer School Office so we can enroll a wait-listed student. All students are to park in the east side parking lot (Ameche Field). If you are going to be dropped off, please use the east side visitor s circle. Entry doors for Summer School are 2 & 3. Please bring a water bottle and a snack. Some snacks and drinks will be for sale during break. The Summer School Office will be open from 7:15 a.m. 12:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you have any questions or concerns, or to call in attendance, please call Ms. Yust at 262-359-2213. Page 10

During the month of May, 9th and 10th grade students will take the ACT Aspire test which is part of the ACT Suite of tests. It is administered to all 9th and 10th graders in the state of Wisconsin. This test is online and will be taken during the normal school day. The results will show readiness levels in English, Reading, Math, Science, and Writing in preparation for the ACT test which is administered in 11th grade. Parents will receive results during the 2016-17 school year registration. If you have questions, please contact the main office at 359-2200. All library materials are due to the Tremper Library by the following dates: May 6: General due date for all library materials checked out to seniors. May 27: General due date for all library materials checked out to all other students. May 31-June 9: Library will be open to students for project/research work and/or short-term checkout of needed materials. Students can check their library account for overdue materials or fines. Students need to simply go to http://tremper.kusd.edu and click on Library Resources. Students can click the log-in button in the upper right corner and type in their active directory (ID# and password) credentials. Click on the My Info tab. Books, overdue materials, and fines will be indicated. Please call the library with any questions at 262-359-2239. Page 114
