We are a new life-giving church launching in Raleigh-Garner, NC in January 2016. L AU N C H I N G J A N UA RY 2 0 1 6 OUR MANDATE Life of Worship Church exists to reach people far from Christ so they can arise to a life in him and find a place to belong. 01

Reaching people means going out of our way to show the love of Christ no matter where they are in life. It is our outward expression of our inward love for Jesus Christ. REACH 1 Timothy 2:3-7 AWAKEN For a city to be awakened it must encounter the true, freeing love of Jesus Christ and His local church. Then lights will shine, chains will come undone, and awareness will set in. You can then begin to discover your purpose, grow a heart of worship, and participate in transforming lives through His local church. John 3:16 EQUIP We exist to help grow and equip you to pursue your purpose and reach your full God potential. We want you to embrace your creativity as you grow in your calling. Ephesians 4:11-12, John 14:12 SEND The gospel of Jesus is like a tossing stone and our world is the still lake. Once you throw one stone into the lake a ripple effect will begin to create circles that continue to expand. We exist to expand the gospel of Jesus Christ in our homes, jobs, social gatherings, communities, schools, college campuses, surrounding areas, and third world countries with tossing stones so that a ripple effect will take place. 03 WHY ANOTHER CHURCH

THE TRIANGLE NEEDS OUR HELP! Raleigh, NC has an estimated 1.2 million population. Approximately 330 thousand of the population has no connection with any Christian body. This means that approximately 163 thousand children in Raleigh are growing up without knowing God. Raleigh, NC is one of the fastest growing cities in America and people are relocating here daily. There are many great churches in the Triangle but that is still not enough to reach the fast growing population of unchurched people. Everyone in our city has a piece of God s heart and we want to show them their piece. The triangle needs more hope, more love, more serving hands, more encounters with Jesus Christ, more churches that care about transforming lives. We are planting in Raleigh-Garner, NC to share the love of Jesus Christ the best way we only know how, through His local church. 04

OUR PLAN REACH Our church exists to reach people where they are, take them to where they belong, and have fun on the way! Our plan is to create a culture of reaching where everyone who walks through our doors will feel like they are a part of our family. Everything we do is for those who are unchurched and far from Christ. The reaching does not stop once you are connected, that is only the beginning. 05 RECEIVE Our plan is to help people receive the very catalyst that freed us all from sin, LOVE. We grow stronger in our faith when we stand in place of receiving from the Lord. Whether it is forgiveness, mercy, grace, strength, encouragement, gifts, love, peace, or rest; once we receive it for ourselves we can then give it to someone else. Once you reach someone they now have the opportunity to receive from God.

RISE There is no better feeling than the feeling of discovery. Our plan is to engage our church with serving hands in hopes that people will discover their true passion for building God s house. We desire for you to arise to a healthy, thriving relationship in Jesus Christ where your heart begins to feel the power of purpose. It will change your life! REMAIN We believe in patterns producing product. Our church is a simple church which means we focus on people outside of the church more than anything. Since we want to be successful we must remain consistent in that. For you this means being a consistent participator of sharing the gospel and building your relationship with Jesus. We are not perfect but if we remain consistent we will progress and more people will see the light of Jesus shining bright through our church. RELEASE We will raise up and release leaders to embrace their creativity and gifts. We don t want you to hold it all in, we want you to release whatever God has given you as a craft, gift, or calling. This is the best way we can work together to keep building something great. 06

LOW-VO LIFE OF WORSHIP VOW Here at Life of Worship Church, we want the relationship between you and Jesus to be your first priority. Then out of gratitude for all He has done for you, we want you to serve through the local church with your families. That is why we created the LOW-VO. It s a vow to Jesus Christ and really unpacks what a life of worship truly means. Living a life of worship involves more than just attending church or just serving inside of a church. It is centered around how we give, how we interact, how we connect, how we pursue our purpose, how we pray, how we love, and how we grow. A Life of Worship requires a revealed identity in God and how much God loves us. It gives way to our full God potential being reached and then being poured out. It causes impact when nothing else can. It mandates a standard of living that makes the Father smile each day. It s not perfect but it s progressive. It s fun, exciting, and contagious. It produces fruit that remains for generations. A Life of Worship is more than the songs we sing, it s about the God we serve (Love Your GOD with all your heart), the people we love (Love His People as you love yourself) and the life we live (Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God). 08

OUR PASTORS ED & EVETTE CLEMONS LEAD PASTOR Ed Clemons is the Lead Pastor of Life of Worship Church. Ed and Evette was born and raised in Miami, FL and they both attended college in Tallahassee, FL. Ed obtained his Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University while Evette graduated from Lively Technical Center Cosmetology Program. They got married back home in 2007. They still laugh at the thought that their marriage was the start of their ministry. Together they worked side by side as college and young adult ministers under the leadership of Pastor Stanley L. Walker and Elder Darrick D. McGhee. Evette has always brought the best out of Ed and he has always strived to be a great leader. In 2012, Ed received His calling to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Currently, Ed is studying for his Associates Degree in Christian Ministerial Studies and Theology at Raleigh Institute of Biblical Studies while Evette is enrolled in Bethel Church s School of Worship in Redding, CA. They are big on socializing and connecting people together. Ed calls himself a grill master and is always looking for a challenge (but only in warm weather). Evette enjoys everything fashion and style. She is always looking for a creative interior design project to bring to life. Ed believes that preaching Jesus Christ always starts change in the heart of hearers and that Christianity is about progression, not perfection. DARRICK D. MCGHEE COVERING PASTOR Pastor Darrick D. McGhee (affectionately known as Pastor D) was born in Peoria, Illinois and later raised in Los Angeles, California. He holds degrees in Political Science and Religion from Florida A&M University (Tallahassee, FL). Although he experienced the pain of loss, it would be in college where he would become serious about his walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Although he was baptized in his childhood, on September 26, 1996, he began his serious Christian walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. On July 9, 1998, at the age of 20, he said, yes to his calling to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ (his calling was confirmed by the Lord through II Timothy 4:1-3). On November 23, 1999, after preaching his initial sermon, Are You Ready? he was licensed under the powerful and anointed teaching of Pastor Stanley L. Walker, Sr., and several years later he was ordained under the same leadership (February 2009). Along with receiving his ministerial certification from the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church Ministerial Training Program, he also completed catechism through a five member Pastoral Board. On November 16, 2002, he happily married his college sweetheart, Tikia McGhee (formerly Nelson). To their union they have a son, Darrick Dashawn McGhee, II, and a daughter, Tania Lauren McGhee. OUR STORY We are a family church, a serving church, a energetic church, a progressive church, a vertical church, and a loving church. We actually love and worship more than anything. We are passionate Jesus lovers who love His people. 11

Ed and Evette developed a passion for reaching people far from Christ almost immediately after accepting Him into their own lives. While originally from Miami, FL (Go Heat!) they served as College and Young Adults Ministers in Tallahassee, FL (Go Rattlers! Go Noles). With passion for change and a vision for true worship in their city, they started a worship band devoted to revival, The Collegiate Union (TCU). Through this ministry, lives were changed through deep and untamed worship encounters. Denominations were coming together through this move of God. TCU is still continuing today! In 2008, they joined Pastor D of Bible Based Church and served as Servant Leaders. Bible Based Church began to truly challenge and grow them in worship, teaching, leadership, and love. In 2009, God began to place Raleigh, NC in their hearts. For three years they sought direction from God as they made plans to relocate after graduation. In 2012, Pastor Ed received one word from God for Bible Based Church that ignited a fire in his heart. That word was revival. He revealed what God had placed on his heart to Pastor D and the process to revival was started. A five day revival took place at Bible Based Church that continued for a total of eight days. Healing, deliverance, spontaneous worship, and prophetic declarations took place throughout the entire revival. On the 8th day, they both knew why God was sending them to Raleigh. It was for an awakening! They moved to Raleigh, NC in the summer of 2012 and In December 2014, Life of Worship Church came to life. 12

OUR COSTS JOIN ARISE AND BE A PART OF GOD S STORY Life of Worship Church is launching January of 2016 and God has been making strides since we started this journey. We want you to join in on what God is doing in the Triangle. No matter where you are, you are the perfect fit to help write God s story and make Jesus famous in our city. We need at least 45 people to join our dream team so we can launch a life-giving church that will reach thousands of people and help them arise to a life in Christ. More relevant for today, birthing a baby is expensive and if you are not well supported financially you will struggle with enjoying the delights of parenting. We would love your support as we birth Jesus church. We want to launch large and show the excellence of His church. Your generosity will open seats for many people to arise to a life in Christ.
