Watering Shdl Schedule in Effect Watering is limited to once every other week starting November 1 st Even numbered addresses may water on Thursdays beginning November 3 rd. Odd numbered addresses may water on Tuesdays beginning November 8 th. Watering Shdl Schedule in Effect Watering is prohibited between thehours hours of 10AM 6PM Exceptions: Trees, foundations, and new landscaping (less than one year old) may be watered by hand or with a soaker hose for a maximum two hours per day, any day of the week, any time of the day. All forms of low flow irrigation (except soaker hoses) are not restricted; they may be used any day of the week, any time of the day.
Cool ls Season Grasses and Planting Methods Theplanting of cool season grasses (i.e. rye) is prohibited. This includes overseeding with cool season grasses. Hydromulching hydroseeding and sprigging are Hydromulching, hydroseeding, and sprigging are prohibited.
Pools and Vhil Vehicles The draining and refilling of swimming pools is prohibited, except that water may be added to replace normal water loss to evaporation in existing swimming pools. A hose end shutoff nozzle must be used when washing vehicles.
Fountains and Ponds Theoperationof of ornamental fountains or other amenity impoundments which use treated water is prohibited. The use of treated water to fill or refill residential, amenity, and any other natural or manmade ponds is prohibited. (Does not include swimming pools; see other restrictions i for more information). i
Hosing of Impervious Surfaces The hosing of paved areas, buildings, or windows is prohibited, Exceptions: Outdoor public restrooms, pavilions and shelters, where public health may be compromised by unsanitary conditions if the facilities cannot be cleaned. High pressure washing of impervious surfaces is still allowed.
Oh Other Restrictions i Excessive water runoff is prohibited. Watering during a precipitation event is prohibited. Golf courses may not be watered with treated water, except as needed to keep greens and tee boxes alive. A rate surcharge may be assessed.

All variances made under Stage 2 will expire November 1. Application must be re made under Stage 3. A variance is an official dispensation from a rule or regulation. When you request a variance to water conservation measures, you are requesting permission to temporarily not follow a specific part of the water conservation measures. Procedure can be found at plano.gov/water.
