SECTION IV. FIRST-AID MEASURES Inhalation If victim feels light-headed, they should be moved into fresh air. If necessary, seek medical attention. Absorption If product comes into contact with skin, wash area thoroughly with soap and water. If irritation continues, seek medical attention. If product gets into eyes, wash eyes immediately with water and/or eye drops. Contact medical services. Ingestion If product is swallowed, rinse mouth out thoroughly with water. Immediately, contact medical services and poison control (Chemtrec: 1-800-424-9300). Unless told to by doctor/poison control, do not induce vomiting. Other Information Ensure own safety first before helping the victim. If product spills onto clothing, immediately remove and wash clothing. SECTION V. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES Auto Ignition: N/A Recommended Extinguisher Media Dry Chemical- May cause damage to other objects in area. Foam- Do not use if electrical source is around area. Carbon Dioxide- Do not use in a low oxygen area. Water Spray- Do not use if electrical source is around area. Do not use a water jet because it could cause fire to spread. Other Information This product is a non-combustible substance. Use proper extinguisher based on surrounding objects. SECTION VI. Clean-Up Use absorbent material that will not disperse the dust into the air. Use a pump to remove the product for large spills. Personal Precautions Wear personal protective equipment. Clear all ignition sources away from the spill. Avoid inhaling the dust particles. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Environmental Precautions Properly dispose of water used to extinguish the fire. Can be corrosive to the skin and may cause dermatitis. Inhalation can cause respiratory disease such as silicosis and pulmonary fibrosis. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS Waste Disposal Do not dispose into surface waters, drains, and/or ground water. Container Disposal The pails are 100% High Density Poly Ethylene.
