Online Evaluations in E*Value Instructions for Completing Online Evaluations through E*Value Online evaluations are scheduled in E*Value. As the preceptor, you will receive an e-mail notice that a student evaluation is pending completion. An example of the e-mail message is included below. Dear <Preceptor Name> This is an automated notice informing you that you have been scheduled to do evaluations for the activity <Pharmacy Course Name>. This reminder may be received prior to the activity's completion, and is intended to facilitate your evaluation and feedback process. The information you provide through evaluations is considered highly valuable to the program. Your participation is greatly appreciated. You may complete your evaluations by logging in to the E*Value Evaluation System at the following Web site. If the URL wraps due to your email client, you will need to copy both parts to your Web browser before continuing: https://www.e*value.net/ If you have forgotten your login or password go to the login screen (https://www.e*value.net). Click on the Forget your login information? and follow the steps to have an email sent to you that will automatically log you in and allow you to modify your login and password for future use. You will be automatically logged-in to E*Value. Evaluations Page 3
Preceptors can log in to E*Value at any time via the E*Value website at https://www.e*value.net. At the home page, enter your Login and Password. Evaluations Page 4
After entering your login and password, your name should be listed at the top of the page. If your name is not listed, do not complete the evaluation. Contact the Office of Experiential Education at 731-661-5321 if you have questions. Select Pending Evaluation(s) to view any evaluation(s) that are due for completion. Evaluations due for completion are listed. The type of evaluation is listed in the third column. Evaluations Page 5
Complete or Edit an Evaluation To complete or edit an evaluation, select Edit Evaluation next to the evaluation you wish to complete. Once you have selected an evaluation Note the student name to assure you are evaluating the intended student. Note the course name. To complete the evaluation, select the appropriate score for each portion of the evaluation. Scores can be changed by selecting a different score. Evaluations Page 6
Save For Later When you have completed all or part of the evaluation, select Save for Later to review the evaluation before final submission or to print a copy of the evaluation before final submission. Once selected, E*Value will return the evaluation with your saved responses to your list of evaluations due for completion. Evaluations Page 7
Print an Evaluation Select View/Print to view or print a copy of an evaluation. Completed scores and comments will print. This is an excellent way to maintain a print copy of completed evaluations. Select Print This Report to print a copy of the evaluation. Scores and comments will print. Evaluations Page 8
Submit an Evaluation When you are ready for final submission, select Submit. Once you select Submit the evaluation will be removed from your list of Pending Evaluations. Editing the evaluation after selecting Submit must be completed by the School of Pharmacy. Contact the Office of Experiential Education for assistance. Evaluations Page 9
Suspend an Evaluation Optional evaluations (e.g. Preceptor Evaluation of Student Mid-Term if not necessary) may be suspended if the evaluation is not needed. Select Suspend. Add a reason for the suspension and select Suspend Evaluation. Evaluations Page 10
Print a Previously Submitted Evaluation To print an evaluation that has already been submitted, select Evaluations under the User Menu. Then, select Completed to view all completed evaluations. All of the evaluations that you have completed will be listed. Select the evaluation that you want to view or print. Select Print This Page to print a copy of the evaluation. Evaluations Page 11

Viewing a Preceptor s Schedule in E Value Preceptors wanting to check their schedule can do so at any time. Select the Reports Menu. Select Schedules then Rosters under the Reports menu. At Role Selection, select Clinical Preceptor then select Next. At Roster Schedule Report, change the End Date to include all possible rotations, then select Next. Evaluations Page 13
Your schedule should be shown. The schedule can be printed or emailed. Evaluations Page 14
View Student Evaluations of Preceptor Performance You may view student evaluations of your performance through E*Value. To maintain student anonymity, preceptor performance reports are only available after a minimum of three students have completed evaluations. To view preceptor performance, select Performance under the Reports menu, then select Educator Performance. Enter a Start Date and End Date that includes the rotation timeframe in which evaluations took place. You may select a specific course under Course/Rotation. Select the Evaluation Type, Student Evaluation of Preceptor and select Next. Evaluations Page 15
The aggregated data should be displayed, including the average score for each numbered statement, and the number of students who answered the question (Applicable Answers). To view written comments about the preceptor (Educator), select To Educator Comments. Individual student comments should be displayed. Evaluations Page 16
