It has an extremely robust but nonetheless a very light weight housing made of aluminium and is therefore suitable for almost all applications. Special protected connectors avoid accidental disconnections during operation. The device has 100mW transmission power but you can increase this power by connecting gain antennas. COFDM Radio Communication Appliance O.R.C.A - Extension Options The O.R.C.A system will convince you not only because of its modular design but also because of its additional optional functions. Every user can adapt the system in detail to his special application. Additional interfaces like S/P- DIF (digital audio) or SDI (digitale video) for maximum video quality, 3DES or AES encryption as well as integrated telemetry modules for operation of PTZ camera all this is available on request and makes the system your perfect product solution. You want to transmit multiple video signals? By means of additional MPEG modules you can connect up to 4 video sources with the transmitter to transmit the signals simultaneously. Also Ethernet signals might be transmitted by using the O.R.C.A devices. The Ethernet module option provides you with an RJ45 network connection so that you can feed the system with the data of your PC, notebook or network. COFDM-Roaming COFDM roaming offers completely new dimensions of mobile video transmission. With this technique it is possible to create wireless networks with multiple receivers which are connected with one central control station. Within this network the transmitter is able to move freely. As soon as the transmission at a receiver becomes weak the control station switches over to the next receiver with better reception. Cascades In complex wireless applications sometimes it is necessary to build a cascade to go further with the wireless signals. In those cases you receive a weak signal and you transmit it to a remote receiver with another stronger transmitter in another frequency. There will be no loss of video quality because the data stream goes directly from the receiver to the next transmitter. This technology ensure a considerable increase of the video quality compared with similar systems. Different interfaces are available such as RS232, RS485 or USB. So you can alter all parameters very quickly and without big efforts. This function is even more important if you have an application where you have no direct access to the transmitter and the device have to switched on or off to save battery life. On screen display On request it is possible to fade different parameters or date in the video stream, so that you can see the data on your screen. The fade it can be done at the transmitter or the receiver. So you can see sensor data, instructions or other information live on your monitor, but also alarms or warning signals can be displayed.

WIRELESS SYSTEMS Webserver / LWL / UMTS The signals received by the COFDM receiver can be transfered via another system. In practise there are different possibilities to do so, such as fibre optic systems, internet video web servers or via radio and UMTS. You can use an analogue or digital signal output of the COFDM receiver to feed your system, depending on what data standard you need. Data transmission You need to additional Ethernet module to transmit smaller data up to 1200Baud. You will only need a further transmission channel. This could be very helpful to transmit e.g. the battery s status of a mobile transmitter or to transmit GPS data. QUADRO transmitter and receiver One device - 4 video sources. With this video transmitter you can transmit up to 4 video signals simultaneously. The transmitter has 4 independent video / audio inputs. The device is modular so that you can configure it depending on your video sources. Instead of the 4th video module you could also integrated an Ethernet module, so that you could connect your PC to have a parallel data transmission via COFDM. Ethernet interface By means of the Ethernet interface you can transmit digital data via the COFDM data stream. Devices with this feature have a standard network connector (RJ45) to have an easy connection with PC or notebook. The system uses standard protocols like UDP, TCP/IP or FTP for the data transmission. Bandwidth of data and video stream can be adjusted individually. Also the receive can output the video signal direly for the connected PC. Serial or USB interfaces are available. The program has a simple and easy to understand surface so that you can configure the most important parameters in very short time. Bidirectional audio transmission Sometimes a good audio connection between transmitter and receiver is necessary. By means of a small integrated additional module (VTQ MPLink) you could have this bidirectional connection between both devices.
