Our computer aided dispatch (CAD) program allows us to effectively base vehicles at strategic locations and to efficiently dispatch personnel. System Status Management allows Medshore to pre-schedule non-emergency and inter-facility patient transports in advance, while maintaining adequate coverage for emergency responses. This development expertise has enabled our company to achieve uniformly faster response times, with significantly lower operating cost Lower operating cost means lower cost to the communities and our customers, while providing the highest standards in emergency care. Testing Upon completion of the aforementioned items, the applicant is scheduled for an orientation program conducted by the Compliance & Professional Standards Department. PART OF THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE Our vehicles are the most obvious evidence that Medshore Ambulance Service is at work in your community. But look around and you will see us at work in many other ways. Medshore sponsors a Reserve Program for adults, an Explorer Post for youths, and a shadow program in conjunction with several area high schools. These programs allow participants to ride with field crews and gain exposure to the field of Emergency Medical Services. Medshore provides speakers or demonstrations to many civic and professional organizations, schools, churches and/or other entities. Our speakers are very experienced and have a tremendous background in EMS education, as well as public speaking. Presentations explore topics such as Medshore services, EMS careers, advanced medical directives, preparing for emergencies, and more. Educating our children about safety can be challenging. Medshore utilizes Andy the talking, moving ambulance robot to make it fun to learn about safety.
