1 201 Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification REVISION: 1. Eligibility requirements updated. 2. Live scan language was updated to reflect correct terminology. 3. Applicants will be required to schedule an appointment to apply for certification and recertification. 4. New language was added to clarify the certification process once all documents have been received. 5. Language was added to clarify what is required for recertification. To include applications should be submitted at least 30 days in advance. 6. A new CE log was added to the Policy so applicants will not have to bring copies of their CE s with them to the Agency. 7. Under lapsed requirements all items that are required for recertification were listed. 8. A statement was added about concurrent certification, EMT s with disciplinary actions from other agencies, and a statement on the falsification of documents. 204 Paramedic Intern Recognition REVISION: 1. The process for application and recognition as an intern was explained step-by-step. 2. Live scan process was clarified. 3. That the application process must be completed in 30 days. 4.
