Source IP: When allowing traffic from a SIP service provider, define the source IP as the IP address of the Service Provider s SIP server. (172.23.102.87) Protocol/Ports: SIP traffic is UDP port 5060 With a factory default NetVanta 7100, what traffic is allowed in from Internet? L6-8 NetVanta IP Telephony Course
CONFIGURE LOW LATENCY QUEUING (LLQ) RTP traffic (voice) generated by the NetVanta 7100 is marked a DSCP 46. In the following steps, you will configure Low Latency Queuing (LLQ); where DSCP 46 will be placed in the priority queue getting 50% of the available bandwidth. 5. From the Data / Router / QoS Map menu, create a QoS Map named voip with a sequence number of 10. Name: voip Seq #: 10 Click Add 6. Configure QoS Map voip-10 to match DSCP 46. Set the Priority Queue Bandwidth to 50 % of available bandwidth. NetVanta IP Telephony Course L6-9
CONFIGURE CLASS BASED WEIGHTED FAIR QUEUING (CBWFQ) SIP signaling traffic generated by the NetVanta 7100 is marked a DSCP 26. Configure Class Based Weighted Fair Queuing (CBWFQ); where DSCP 26 gets 5% of the remaining bandwidth after the priority queue. 7. From the Data / Router / QoS Map menu, create a second QoS Map named voip with a sequence number of 20. Name: voip Seq #: 20 Click Add 8. Configure QoS Map voip-20 to match DSCP 26.
